Please keep your pets safe today with the fireworks! Many dogs are terrified of the noise and will try to escape. Make sure their microchip info is up to date, they have their collar on with a tag with your phone number or write your number on their collar. Secure your house and yard so they can’t get out. Bring them indoors before the fireworks start.

Playing in the pool and learning how to find the exit! Important skills for a dog to learn. Making sure the training stays positive and fun, Kai became a pro by the end navigating to the exit on his own and giving kisses when he exited 🥰

Kai is getting ready for his swimming lessons tomorrow. He’s going to learn about pools and how to safely exit them. He’s also going to learn that he can swim and there’s no need to panic 🥰🥰 it’s important to teach your dog to find the stairs of the pool in case they accidentally fall in. Especially if you have a pool in your backyard. The weather is getting hot and water safety is important! P.s. he likes to model the scuba gear at the dive shop he works at 🤣

JUNE is a beautiful 2-year-old love bug!!! This American Bulldog mix is a friendly and happy girl who is curious about the world, happy to meet everyone, and enjoys adventures!

June is playful and her favorite game is playing fetch with the squeaky ball. She loves to toss around stuffed toys, shake them and throw them for herself and chase them. She is a funny girl!!
June loves her walks and is in the process of learning not to pull and to mind her person.

June is a medium energy girl, and is mellow in the home and car, and always has time for snuggles!June also has a reputation for giving the BEST kisses! She sits and takes treats gently. June would love a family that is active, has a yard to play in and takes her for walks. June is spayed, and up to date on vaccinations.

Teague is learning a new skill! First time adding the command “center” where he circles my leg and comes between my legs. He’s so smart and engaged with the training it’s easy adding on new skills. Always keep the training fun and positive to keep the motivation up for the pup! Training should be fun!

My dogs live here, they’re here to stay.
You don’t like pets? Be on your way
They share my home, my food, my space
This is their home, this is their place.
You will find dog hair on the floor,
They will alert when you’re at the door.
They may request a litte pat,
A simple ‘NO’ will settle that.
It gripes me when I hear you say,
Just how is it you live this way?
They smell, they shed, they’re in the way.
WHO ASKED YOU? is all I can say.
They love me more than anyone.
My voice is like the rising sun,
They merely have to hear me say,
‘C’mon, time to go and play.”
Then tails wag and faces grin,
They bounce and hop and make a din,
They never say, ‘No time for you,
They’re always there, to GO and DO.
And if l’m sad, they’re by my side.
And if I’m mad, they circle wide.
And if I laugh, they laugh with me.
They understand, they always see.
So, once again, I say to you,
‘Come visit me,’ but know this too..

This makes me so happy!! Koa was one of my fosters and so desperately deserved a loving home! He had such a rough life before coming into rescue. People often ask me how I can foster so much..... this is how. Seeing an abused dog get the loving home they so desperately deserve. Koa was full of nothing but love and cuddles even after he was treated so poorly by humans. Happy life sweet boy! We love you!

Koa has been adopted! This little boy walked right into his new home, jumped up on his mommas lap, and asked for butter scratches. Once he got his butt scratches he settled down and took a nap. I guess he knew he was home. 😂 Adoptions like this are why we do what we do.
