A very happy update!! Dahlia has found her forever home ❤️ She is very loved and we couldn’t have asked for a better home for her. It’s bittersweet as she was the last kitty in Wrenn Rescues to be adopted 😭❤️ So thankful for everyone’s kind words and support over the years. I hope you are all still following our wonderful fosters who are still fostering for other rescues 😊 I’ll be posting on here from time to time to help get the word out for animals in need but you can also follow me at or . Posted • Dahlia announcement!! This girl flew the coop a bit ago and got herself adopted!!! She’s has been getting the proper intros to her new kitty sister and bonding like crazy with her new mama!!! I’m so happy for this girl she’s got the best home and I’m so proud to see her come from such uncertain circumstances to now living in a home of her own 🥹🙌🏽
That being said that is THE last foster to get adopted thru 😭🤩🥰 so many emotions but grateful for the things I’ve learned while being with them. Thank you all for the continued support with the new transition into .of.angels 🫶🏽

Friends we need your help to rehome Jojo and Dio together. Please share 🙏❤️ they need to go to a forever home together or into a rescue with foster placement together. Please read more about their wonderful personalities: These two sweet bonded siblings are extremely sweet and were raised as bottle baby kittens. I would describe Jojo and as a laid back lounger. He’s very relaxed and likes to be snuggled. If you pick him up, he does not put his claws out and will just let you hold him comfortably in any position. He loves to stretch out and have his belly rubbed. He likes to burrow under a blanket or inside a pillowcase sometimes to nap. Despite being seemingly chill, he’s got quick paws! If you dangle a toy near him, he’ll catch it lightning quick. He’s very sweet and gentle.

Dio is very communicative and clever. He’s more energetic and likes a lot of attention. He likes to be near people and is very curious. He absolutely loves having his belly and under his chin rubbed and scratched. He’ll roll over and ask for it. He can be persistent asking for pets! When he decides, he loves to snuggle up right next to you and sleep forever.

They are both really comfortable with kids. I love to rub their soft paw pads gently and they let me do that without resistance. Jojo and Dio play with each other and get along in general. They don’t fight over food or anything. Their favorite treats are Greenies Smartbites. They both love small furry toys they can pick up and carry around. Jojo has a thing for sitting or lying on crinkly paper or plastic.

The VERY best update and happy ending 🥹 please read more below from !!! Poor Chanty had been through so much and finally found her forever home. She is so content with her new family and they absolutely adore her. Makes my heart so happy ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Posted • ✨ The ultimate updates of updates! Mama Chanterelle has officially been adopted!!!!!!! After coming into rescue missing a back paw, riddled in ringworm with 6 babies in tow, to recovering and healing from an amputation to getting “adopted” then later returned after 11 months, to another foster to adopt trial which didn’t work out due to her being too needy and being very uncontrollably vocal about it, to finally settling into her new forever home! Shes everything this adopter could have asked for and more. Shes amazing and so gentle with the tiny humans and just adores her mama and is the little spoon in bed. She’s just what they needed and they are just what she needed….im not crying you are!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 im so incredibly happy for this lil mama and her new loving family 🫶🏽😻🫶🏽

Dahlia is our last kitty in the rescue looking for her forever home and we have had ZERO inquiries, I just don’t understand how she keeps getting overlooked 😞 She has overcome so much in her life at such a young age. Now she needs her forever home and family that she can’t start building her life with. Help!!!! 🚨 🚨🚨 Friends I really really need your help!!!! Johnny, one of my very first fosters EVER needs a new home asap!! His human went to college and he is much too active for his current home where they are caring for someone over 100 years old and he is too playful and become a dangerous trip hazard for her 💔😣 They are so sad to have to make this hard decision but be they’ve run out of time to find him a home. Please please share and help me find Johnny a home or rescue 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 He is the reason I met and and was the start of . Such a special boy and he needs our help. He’s located in Los Angeles, California. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT 😭 please read ❤️ Very sad to announce that Wrenn Rescues is closing our doors. It’s been an incredible 7 years and we have done SO much good and changed so many lives with our rescue efforts, and are so thankful for this amazing community that we have been honored to be a part of.

I know my fosters will have their own path they will take finding who they want to foster for next but I will absolutely be here to support those decisions and always be here to cheer them on their journeys ❤️ Please make sure to continue following their foster adventures! I will absolutely be sharing their updates too!

There are quite a few reasons leading to the closing of Wrenn Rescues. But most importantly, I need to focus on my kids and my health. 💕

We have had an absolutely incredible run, very proud of all my fosters and what we have accomplished. 7 years and over 800 adoptions. 😍

We currently have just one more cat in the rescue still looking for a forever home which is Miss Dahlia. We also have a few others on our petfinder needing new homes as well, I will continue sharing them on here until they are adopted ❤️

I can never thank you all enough for the support and love over the years, we could have never ever done any of this without each and every one of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Will do a more detailed post this week and even though we are closing I’ll absolutely be helping the rescue community in other ways 💕 Love you all 😘

She was a total champ throughout it all and healed so well you couldn’t even tell now that she came in with a snapped femur. She’s a fast girl and loves to run, jump and play and is a total love bug but is also a lil sassy in her own way. She’s obsessed with fur friends and especially ones that are super playful.

Please share!!❤️ Help us find these sweet kitties their forever homes 🥹 they have been waiting so patiently for a home of their own. Dahlia and Sarah would do wonderfully in a home with another cat to be friends with. Sarah would even do great solo with someone that is home all the time. Isaac and David would love a home together but they would also do great in a home with another cat to play with. They have all been in a foster home with dogs so they are definitely dog friendly. Isaac and David would do wonderful adopted together. Sarah and Dahlia need a friend in their new home to play with. All of them have been around other cats and dogs and have such sweet friendly personalities. They have been waiting much too long for a home to call their own. Sarah, David and Isaac are STILL looking for their forever homes. 😞😩 They have had a few inquiries but sadly nothing has panned out. They are so sweet, dog and kid friendly, and the best playful personalities. ❤️
Adoptions have come to a complete standstill and sadly we can’t take in anymore rescues unless the ones we have get adopted. That’s the sad reality and it is breaking our hearts not being able to help more that need it right now. We have had more returns or people reaching out to rehome or relinquish (not ones adopted from us) than we have had adoptions lately which is so defeating and frustrating.
What can you do to help?? Share, please share! We really need the help to spread the word to get out cats adopted into loving homes.
Here are a few ways that could help a TON: 1. Please message me for a flyer to share digitally or if you can print it out somewhere that people may be able to see it 2. Post a photo of our flyer to your local NextDoor app or Facebook group and I’ll send you a link to our adoption application and petfinder listings to attach.
If we can spread the word maybe their forever home will see it and we can help more cats in need 🙏🏻

Please share and help us find a home ❤️😢 This beautiful girl is Chanterelle. The rescue brought her and her litter of kittens in, almost 2 years ago, in HORRIBLE shape. She needed an amputation, along with ringworm treatment and upper respiratory treatment. She got healthy, and was adopted over a year ago, stayed in that home for a year, and then was returned to us in February. She has not adjusted well back into foster care, and has been very hostile to the cats in the home that she was formerly friends with before her adoption. She definitely needs a home of her own, BADLY. She would like to be the only cat, and could potentially coexist with a dog who gave her space.

She is a VERY affectionate and sweet girl who can be chatty at times, and is about 5-6 years old. She loves to sit on the couch and watch tv with her people and be loved on! Her missing leg doesn’t cause her any trouble and she still climbs and gets around just fine.

PLEASE SHARE if you’re in/close to California! The more eyes we can get on her, the better. She is a darling cat and doesn’t deserve what she’s been through.

Thank you all SO much for your support. Donations and adoptions have come to a halt the last few months and it’s been really hard. We aren’t the only ones, this is for rescues all over. It’s tough right now. And sadly, without the help and being able to get homes for the cats in our care, we won’t be able to continue. We are very hopeful that things will turn around 🙏🏻 Thank you all again for participating! We will be doing these every few weeks to help pay our vet bills down and continue to help the animals in our care. 💕

We need help ASAP!! 🚨 Looking for a foster or foster to adopt for two very sweet boys Milo and Oliver. They have had a lot happen in their lives and need to find their forever home. Originally they were adopted by a wonderful woman who unfortunately had health issues arise and needed to be in a home herself to get medical attention. Then they were adopted as therapy cats for a memory care home and unfortunately it’s not working out - they need a family home where they will be loved on - they are overwhelmed with such a large place.
