It is with a very sad heart we report Frosty the chicken has passed away!
Many of those who visited our ranch have met Frosty. She was very sweet and stole the hearts of many people, even those scared of chickens. She was a mama to two roosters. Frosty had an amazing show career. We will definitely miss her.
RIP Frosty

Whinny had a lump on her hind that turned out to be an abscess. Grace lanced the wound releasing the infection so she would better be able to treat it and placed a drain. Whinny is doing great!
Thank you to those who donate medical supplies off our Amazon Wish List as well as funds to purchase specialty items.
So what do we think?
Did you know horses have the right of way? If you see us on a trail, pull to the side and let us pass. This is for your safety and the safety of our animals.
Leroy and Sampson had an amazing outing yesterday to Big Meadows in the national forest. Thank you to the High Sierra Backcountry Horsemen club for putting on this event. It was Leroy's first ever outing and his 5th ride. He definitely enjoyed himself.
Well this is the first woodpecker we have taken in. He fell out of his nest a little too soon.
Happy 4th of July!
Dreamy struggles with regulating his body temp since his poisoning. Here's how we cool him down
Good morning from one of our hardest workers in the ranch.

Mule diet plan, take his girlfriend away. Yes he still has friends with him just not Dolly. He survived for 6 years with no other equines and now he needs to remember it is not the end of the world when Dolly is away.
Listen to Grace's story with horses and how she came to love mustangs.
On this episode of Brands on the Heart, Grace explains her fascinating journey as horse enthusiast who started from English Pony Club and eventually found a deep connection with Mustangs.
Brands on the Heart is brought to you by where mustang owners can find trainers near them to help support their journey with mustangs.
Found more photos of Cinnamon ❤️. This boy left us with many amazing stories to share. Eating an entire meat filled subway sandwich, falling down a cliff with Brad, drinking beer, babysitting many babies, the list goes on. Miss you buddy
Beautiful Cinnamon was granted the last act of kindness and put down. His system shut down and there was absolutely nothing the vets could have done. We are very lucky he went down so quickly so he did not suffer long. He was telling us he was ready. Enjoy the greener pastures with no flies!
RIP
Prayers needed for old Cinnamon. He is not doing too well, going to get him into the vet asap

We have a new member to the BPR family. Everyone meet Leroy the mule.
Leroy was abandoned in a pasture for 6 years, the owners of the pasture did not know what to do with him so we were happy to take him in! He is about 14 hands 8 years old and very sweet. Needs a little training (and a diet) but nothing we can't handle.
Willow may be blind but she sees with sound.
Hello Dolly and Grace attended their first show. Dolly was a superstar and won her first ribbons. It does not matter that the ribbons are not blue, they are just as special. Excited to see this girl's future.

Loud owners make for quiet horses. All our horses are trained to be calm through our shenanigans. This was Tinks first taste of crazy horse trainers and a trainer in the making.🤣🤣🤣
We don't only work with our own horses. Contact us for starting, finishing, or problem solving your equine partners. The majority of these yearlings are available through our lovely neighbors Bar O Ranch Hancock & King P-234 Horses. Some of these fillies and colts have amazing brains on them.
We have decided to name them Raven (mama) and Whinny (baby). Whinny has the funniest personality and loves talking to everyone
Beautiful little Willow is growing up fast! She has become so strong we have removed her braces and are letting her gain strength. She definitely does not feel sorry for herself (unless her food is late). We are so glad we have the chance to give her the best life possible!
This beautiful girl saw our vet today. Good news and bad. Fortunately they braced her to get her walking on straight legs. Bad news is she is most likely completely blind, and we don't even know what internal developmental issues she has. This is from the mother contracting a viral infection during her gestation period that causes delays in the development of the lamb.
This beautiful girl came to us this evening. Poor thing was born with contracted tendons preventing her from walking on an extended leg. A little diy brace tonight until we can get her fitted for a proper one. If you would like to help her you can find our Amazon wishlist or Venmo on our page! And make sure to book a tour to come and visit. #rescueanimals #blossompeakranch #animalrescue
