Senior Portraits 2019
I've recently had a few questions about Senior Portraits so I wanted to share an update on session information... the details are below but at this time my bookings are limited until I have the families that I've already committed to completed.
All sessions are taken at a predetermined location, preferably outside for best natural lighting. The best photos from your session will be edited and shared with you in an online album where you will be able to purchase prints if you choose.
Brief-
30 minutes, $150
Ideal for clients who are looking for a yearbook photo and a few images for a grad party invite. Especially for those short on time or who detest having their photo taken. We'll keep the session short and sweet, and you'll have a few great photos you'll be pleased to display. Includes online gallery and disc of the best images, probably about 5-10 photos.
Extended-
1 hour, $250
For anyone who wants a more traditional session which affords time for wardrobe changes. We'll walk around the setting and get a variety of poses, and you're encouraged to incorporate props such as sports equipment, instruments, pets, you're favorite book, etc. Includes disc of the best 10-15 images.
Custom-
$350 and up
There is no specific time limit and sessions can be divided into multiple days to more easily accommodate different looks, hair and wardrobe changes. For example, you might want an Extended session for most of your photos but also a Brief session with your best friend, or in uniform before or after an event, or at work. Includes disc of the best images (20+).
USB of all images- $75
Includes a print release so you are able to purchase your prints anywhere.
~Extras~
B&W- $50 for up to 5 photos
Includes optimizing contrast and clarity to best suit black and white images.
Special Effects- $20 per image
Did you see a specific effect on Instagram that you'd like applied to your picture? Light leaks, bokeh, HDR, sepia, retro... there are lots of filter options that can completely transform an image.
Editing of your own photos- $15 per image
Includes basic adjustments, noise reduction, and light retouching.
Just to clarify: the session prices above include edited photos. This option is for photographs not taken by me.
Session Location Fees
There are no fees for locations within 15 miles of Three Rivers.
Portage/Kalamazoo- $40
Lake Michigan- $125
What to expect...
The times above are approximate- don't worry, I won't set a timer! I think the best portraits emerge when everyone is relaxed and often my favorite photos are the ones I get when you don't know I'm taking them. Parents, you are welcome to join us and I may even recruit you as an impromptu assistant. But I do want to mention that the vast majority of people feel uncomfortable being watched while they are getting their portraits taken, so you may want to wander off briefly now and then.
