After a long stressful week, there is nothing more relaxing than helping the girls harvest their crops. This afternoon we worked in harvesting potatoes. Playing in the dirt is always a fun activity for any kid.

Each night Adalynne tends to her flock of chickens. She makes sure that any other eggs that may have been laid are collected and that everyone has food and fresh water before bed. But most importantly we make sure that all the hens and Sarg our Rooster are tucked away in the coop. For the past several nights Adalynne has been besides herself because Mama our one leghorn has not been going in the coop at night, yet she shows up each morning. We thought maybe she ran off to hatch more eggs because she did disappear for 3.5 weeks recently and then came home with a flock of fluffy chicks 🐣 but nope! She has been roosting in the Apple Tree!

Hello Everyone! It has been quite a long time since we did a post on our farm page. A lot has changed over the past several years. The changes have definitely brought on their own set of challenges but we have overcome all of them by sticking strong as a family. Since starting the farm, I married a wonderful man who not only believed in my farming dream but he shared in those dreams as well. We have welcomed three beautiful daughters into the world and they too love the farm life.

Along with our family changing and growing, our farm has changed and grown as well. Despite our love of alpacas and llamas, we have taken a step back from the breeding and raising of alpacas. We do still have animals on the farm but our primary focus with them is having them as our pets to enjoy. We do offer horse boarding services on the farm now.

As a part of our ever growing venture, our oldest daughter will soon be opening her own farm stand. Adalynne loves being a farm kid and at only 2 years old she takes tremendous pride in tending to her garden and her chickens. Though we help her with the chores and upkeep of the garden, Adalynne and her younger sister Abigail do all of the harvesting of the crops and care for their birds. The funds that they raise are used to purchase seed for the garden and feed/supplies for their chickens. The products grown in the garden are pesticide free and organic. Eggs are collected each day from the 8 free range hens they raise (they are currently raising chicks to add to their flock). All items purchased from her farm stand supports Adalynnes dreams and 100% of the funds go directly to her so that she may continue to grown vegetables in her garden, teach her a strong sense of responsibility, but most importantly…to continue to be passionate about something she truly loves.

Look out for the upcoming date of her farm stand known as Mami’s Market grand opening. Produce and eggs can still be purchased if you message our page. Once per month Mami’s Market will service the Souderton, PA and Telford, PA area. More information to come!

Our family looks forward to updating you more!

He has straight lines and holds his posture perfect every time. His legs are perfectly straight as well as his teeth.

Little Babies 😍

07/28/2018

We are very excited to welcome this little guy to our herd. His timing could not have been any worse... in the middle of a huge rain and lightning storm... but we got him and his mom in safe and dried off. He is up walking and trying to nurse from mom. Mom is doing well and is very protective of her little guy. He doesn’t have a name yet, suggestions are always welcomed 😊 His Sire is Emelise Hullabaloo and Dam is FPA Road Rage. This is Baloo’s first cria on the ground and we are offering breedings to him. PM us for more information about the different herdsires we are offering breedings from.

Roada had her baby this evening and ....It’s a boy!! Pictures to come as well as pictures of baby Athena now that she is a week old ❤️

07/16/2018

Please excuse our dirty barn mats....here she is everyone! With her proud momma Sierra and her crazy Aunts all staring at her through the door. We have decided to name her Athena. Momma continues to be doing well and eating. Baby still has her sea legs but she is up and moving and finally starting to nurse. Athena is the daughter of AOV Accoyo Ridley and Granddaughter of Accoyo American Enterprise.

Sierra had her baby this morning and.....It’s a girl! Pictures to come later 😍

06/24/2018

Our little baby Violet is blossoming into such a beautiful little girl ❤️

06/17/2018

These are the pesky little barn swallows that made the barn their home. But check out their nest....they used alpaca fiber in it! Sorry little guys but as soon as you leave the nest we are taking it down!

05/28/2018

Happy Memorial Day from all of us here at the farm 😊

05/05/2018

Baby Violet is so cute 😍 So long as the weather holds and we don’t get tons of rain she will get to go out to pasture with her momma tomorrow. Cant wait to watch her outside, she is a very calm baby.

05/02/2018

Alpaca Shearing Day was a complete success! After 9 long hours we are finally finished! We have quite the “harvest” this year and can’t wait to get our hand inside those bags to start playing with all the beautiful colors. We had a very eventful afternoon as well while shearing. So one of the girls on the farm was 371 days pregnant....well it was her turn to get sheared. We grabbed her restrained her and BAM!.....cria popped out of her! Welcome Little Violet to the farm. A beautiful and healthy 21.8 pound cria!

05/02/2018

Stay tuned! We have quite the surprise for everyone!

05/02/2018

Champ says “Good Morning Everyone! It’s Officially Shearing Day!”

04/28/2018

Riley says “Come on out for shearing day next Wednesday May 2, 2018 from 8am till ?” Everyone will be getting their annual haircuts! It’s a great way to come out and learn about how we harvest fleece off the animals and it gives you a chance to see the alpacas up close and personal. If your interested in attending and helping out on shearing day send us a message!!!

03/30/2018

Well it has been quite the eventful Friday evening here at the farm. We just welcomed our second lamb of the season. Lola is being a wonderful mother. Now can you guess the gender of our new baby 😍?

03/28/2018

UPDATE for Shearing Day! As many of you already know, we also own a couple sheep and fiber goats. These babies are scheduled to get their shearing done on Saturday May 19th, 2018. We are very excited to be working with a local shearer to have these babies hair cut and also happy to be supporting the hard work of other local farmers.

Our alpacas are still scheduled to be sheared by Trevor and Tania Gellatly on May 2nd, 2018.

We are welcoming anyone who would like to come out to help bag, skirt, and sort fleeces. It you are interested in visiting the farm on one of the above shearing dates send us a message. Lunch will be provided for those who attend and help out 😊

03/21/2018

After a very long night, some light snow, and an ear tipping accident....we are happy to announce that we had our first lamb born on the farm and it’s a GIRL!! She is hanging strong but still has her sea legs. The first few days are critical for little lambs. But momma is doing fine. Now we start the countdown for Aunty Lola to have her lamb(s). And we are going to have to think of a name for this little girl over the next couple of days.

END OF WINTER ALPACA SOCK SALE!!! So many of our supporters and regular customers know that rescuing animals has been a huge part of our lives for years. We have rescued animals of all species and from all types of situations. And each day they enrich our lives in a way that no words can describe. One of the rescues that is near and dear to our heart and foster for is AMAR (American Maltese Association Rescue). AMAR is amazing group of volunteers who come together for the common cause of saving the lives of Maltese in need. Our sweet little dog Chiara is a forever foster of AMAR due to her being deaf and she suffers from doggy dementia. As part of our winter sale, we will be donating 15% of all our sock sales to AMAR starting today March 18, 2018 and for the entire month of April 2018. Alpaca socks not only keep your feet warm in winter but also won’t make you sweaty in the warmer months. And the best part.....they don't itch like wool socks do! That's because Alpacas don't have lanolin in their fiber which many people have reactions to. So treat yourself or your family to the luxury of alpaca socks and also help raise awareness and funds to save the dogs! To order send us a PM or call 215-436-4501. All major credit cards, PayPal, check, and cash accepted. Shipping for out of state not included. Local delivery of any products is free 😊

SHEARING DAY is right around the corner! Our crew of alpacas are scheduled to be sheared on Wednesday May 2nd, 2018 at 8:30am. If you are interested in helping out with sorting fleeces.....Volunteers are needed! Lunch on the farm will be provided for all who volunteer 🙂

If you would like to volunteer please send me a message on here or give me a call!

Also...we will be visiting MAPACA again this year to watch the shows and see all the gorgeous alpacas. If anyone is interested in attending the MAPACA Jubilee you are welcome to tag along with us on Saturday April 21st, 2018. So even though the snow messed up everything, we still managed to make it out to our event! Bonzai and Champ did great. All the kids from last year came back and were very upset that Frosty and Cocoa were not there. Next year we will bring Frosty and Cocoa back! Thank you everyone who stopped by to see the alpacas today!

And a huge thank you to my dad, cousin, and Tony for plowing, shoveling, and digging out the farm today!

02/18/2018

So happy for my boys. They have an amazing new home and are already spoiled. Seeing them go is the hardest part of farming but when you find happy, loving, caring homes for them it makes it all worth it. Thank you Bethanne and Chuck Woodhouse for being so wonderful! And welcome to the crazy fun world of alpacas ❤️

02/18/2018

Marshall my Orphaned Cria and his weanling buddy Cody went to their new home today. They are going to very loved and well cared for ❤️

02/10/2018

Our herd is working hard growing that gorgeous fiber. These are just a few of our boys that we are very much looking forward to “harvesting” in April during shearing season 😍
