Loves well behaved horses, owners who have horses caught at the time of the appointment, sedation, dry working environments and barn owners who collect payment from their boarders ahead of time or front the cost

Dislikes last minute cancellations, not having a way for horses to be sedated, lugging equipment across fields, “they’ll pay you later” and rude people

The Frederick County Planning Commission meetings are regularly held at 9:30 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month, and as necessary on the third and fourth Wednesdays. Meetings are located in the First Floor Hearing Room of Wi******er Hall at 12 East Church Street in downtown Frederick City, and are televised live on FCGTV (cable channel 19 and 1085).

Bourne Building, 355 Montevue Lane, Frederick, Maryland

On January 11 at 6:30 p.m., the Frederick County Parks & Recreation Commission will meet at the Bourne Building, 355 Montevue Lane, Frederick, Maryland to discuss the Kanode Park Master Plan. The master plan includes proposed equestrian facilities, including: (i) a 100’ x 200’ arena (dressage, jumping) with potential for being enclosed; (ii) a 300’ x 300’ western arena (barrel racing, jumping); (iii) a 100’ x 100’ practice ring; (iv) an obstacle course; and (v) approximately 3 miles of riding trails.

We encourage as many horse people as possible to attend the meeting and show our industry's support for, and appreciation of, public equestrian facilities.

Looking for something FUN to do this winter . Come join the fun and ride a horse.. We have a wonderful trainer on board and offering Beginner to intermediate lessons. We can also offer intro to barrels and poles riding experience required. We currently have private lessons or very small groups. We have big and small horses so if you are a larger person do not worry . We teach kids and adults and it's tons of fun.
