It’s been a great week here at the NRCHA World Show in Ft Worth! SRCHA has been well represented here. We had nine members show here and we’re proud of everyone of them. We attended the affiliate’s meeting and exchanged ideas with other affiliates. Kade Vinyard was elected as the Southeastern Region youth representative for the NRCHYA and will serve on the national board! We look forward to seeing everyone next month in New Roads, LA.

Don't miss our first show of the new show year!!! In addition to our regular classes we will have an Open Reined Cow Horse Derby and a Non-Pro Reined Cow Horse Derby. The Open Derby has $600 added money so get those snaffle horses ready! This show will also have our USCHA sanctioned ranch cutting classes and non-sanctioned herd work classes! This show is shaping up to be a good one! There is $1400 added money Saturday and Sunday! We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there. If you’re happy to have reined cow horse in Louisiana come on out and join us!

Attention!!!
We have had several requests for a green horse class at the Mid-Summer Cow Horse Boogie so we listened! There will be a green horse reined cow horse class for horses with less than $1000 in earnings. This is a down the fence class. The entry fee is $125 with $25 going into the jackpot. To enter this class please notify Tina McCleary by email at [email protected]. This will be done in addition to your regular entry form.

The deadline for entries has been moved to May 22nd. We're doing this to help accommodate exhibitors that are new to NRCHA and have questions.
