Time for the big announcement, folks. As many of you already know, outside of the silkworm business, my wife and I are both private music teachers for a living.
This summer I have been offered a full time band/choir director position at a local school. I ended up accepting the position, and have had quite the busy summer so far in preparation.

I will no longer have time to personally tend to our silkworm stock. However, my wife and mother in law are stepping up and taking care of the live silkworms until further notice.

If you message the page, it will still come right to me. However for the time being, you can consider all shipped orders of live silkworms on PAUSE. As we get back on our feet, we are catering to local clients first.

We apologize for any disappointment in this announcement. This new job will allow us to have the funds to hire an outside employee down the line. Thanks for sticking with us these past few years. We hope to be back to shipping across the country again soon 💙🐛

The deactivation scare for our accounts that we posted turned out to be a false alarm. There has been a lot of scammers targeting small businesses recently. Thank you for everyone that supports us!
We will soon make a fairly large announcement regarding the future of our company.
We are not going anywhere. Silkwormsnmore is here for the long run. However some logistical things will change going into the next silkworming season.

Hello everyone, my wife and I unfortunately have been quite sick the past week, really taking its toll on us last weekend.

I’ve been scheming with my 3D printer manufacturer a little bit. These are made from food safe plastic. No upholstery to hold moisture, and easy to deep clean.
We have a few different types of couches, and can produce almost any color you can think of.
Is this something you folks would like to see us start providing on the regular?

Here’s a sneak peek from the 3D printer factory!
This next batch of Generation 2.1 silkworm keepers will arrive tomorrow 🥳
These keeper frames will be fitted with plexiglass windows and a sleek removable front door for easy access to the bugs you keep inside.

We are expecting this round of keepers to sell relatively quickly. If you see a color in this pic you want to claim, message us ASAP!

Love our worm keepers 🙂 I’ve had this shelf in the worm room since before it was the “worm room”. Perfect for storing keepers. Now I just have to remove the wooden bars from the shelf so I can fit one more keeper per level 😄

Love doing projects with my Dad! We are building my 6 foot boa constrictor an 8 foot pvc enclosure.
The plan is to build it outside, then take it apart, clean every inch of it, and reassemble it in the worm room.
Still have to buy upgraded lighting and heat fixtures for an enclosure this size.. and a lot of substrate… and probably a few other things. But Coco will be living it up like a queen in no time!

Yes the worm keepers are coming! I promise I didn’t forget any of you 😅 I am expecting a batch of about 30 keepers to arrive next week.
It’s been a long journey, but we hope to cut down the wait time drastically after this shipment!
