Fostoria Residents, Save the date!

The Seneca County Auditor's office will be selling Seneca County dog licenses at the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St. in Fostoria, on Friday, January 15, 2026. They will be there from 11:00am to 3:30pm. Please see the attached flyer for more information. And as always, you can purchase your 2026 dog tags at the Auditor's office at 109 S. Washington St in Tiffin. Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 4:30 or

To inquire about adopting, it is best to call the shelter and make an appointment. The shelter phone number is (419)-448-5097, press 1, if you do not get an answer leave a message and we will return your call asap. We are unable to monitor Facebook 24/7 but will respond when we can.
Because our dogs are strays, we are unsure of the past shot history. Spaying/ Neutering and all basic shots are recommended. All dogs are available for adoption for $30.00 which includes a 2026 Ohio Dog License. We accept cash or check only.

Give your dog the best gift ever!

🐾 2026 Seneca County Dog Licenses are ON SALE NOW! 🐾
It's time to license your dog for the new year! This simple act is required by Ohio law and is the most effective way to ensure your dog is returned to you if they ever get lost.
💰 License Information:
• Cost: A one-year license is only $15.00 per dog.
• Deadline: You must purchase your license by
January 31st, 2026.
• Late Fee: The license fee doubles to $30.00 after
February 1st, 2026. Buy yours early to save!
📍 Where to Buy Your 2026 Dog License:
You have three convenient ways to purchase your tag:
1. Online (Credit Card Only):
• Visit: https://www.doglicenses.us/OH/Seneca/
• Licenses purchased online will be mailed to you.
(A processing fee applies.)
2. In Person:
• Seneca County Auditor's Office (8:30am-4:30pm Mon-Fri)

Status: Both have found their new homes!

Tinsel and Toffee are male and female twelve-week-old Shepherd/Husky mix puppies. They were owner turn ins due to no longer having the means to care for them any longer. Tinsel and Toffee are a little shy at first and then full of s***k and joy. They appear to be fast learners and love treats. Previous owner was working on crate training and being house trained. They are looking for their new homes!
