Fireworks Are Here… 🎆

We love celebrating the 4th of July! The beauty and tradition of fireworks are a meaningful part of the holiday. But most pets don’t see it that way. Loud noises and bright flashes can cause extreme stress, often leading pets to run away in fear.

As pet owners, please take these important steps:

✅ Keep pets indoors during fireworks
✅ Ensure collars have up-to-date ID tags
✅ Confirm that microchip information is current
✅ Take a recent photo of your pet

Reminder: July 5th is one of the busiest days of the year for animal shelters. While we don’t expect anyone to skip the celebrations, it’s our responsibility as pet owners to keep our pets safe and secure.

A few of our staff used their day off to volunteer at our local animal shelter.

We are shocked at how many animals he's loving homes. We wish we could take them all home but since we can't we figured sharing some of their photos would be the next best thing.

All these sweet animals deserve to know what a loving home feels like. They deserve to lay their heads down at night on a soft cushy bed instead of a hard concrete floor. They deserve to know what it feels like to have someone that loves them wrap their arms around them in a hug. Some of these sweet dogs and cats have been waiting since January without any inquiries about them. The staff at the shelter works very hard to provide care and love for these animals but nothing compares to a home and family of their very own!
