I know it’s early for Easter but I wanted to get a head start on it! Im going to be doing a raffle of services and products worth over $100. A stunning standard poodle (Not biased at all 😅)
Took some time for her coat to finally come in how I wanted, but we are there! Although she was suited best at my moms where she has run of the land, I still consider her my baby. I will definitely be getting another one in the far future. The temperament and calm demeanor and overall personality of her is the best ive ever had in any dog I’ve personally owned. I always figured standards would be too rambunctious, but hardly at all!

Watch me do a doodle groom in a couple minutes 🤣Total time 3 hrs. 2 hrs bath and dry and 1 hr cut. He was matted so 2 hrs was a bath and deep conditioning and very slowly blow drying and brushing him out. Majority of my de matting is done with the blow dryer. I love sven so much! He is such a good dog, and a teddy bear of a dog. 💕 Normal cost of a full groom with de mat taking 3 hrs is $200. Grooming is getting expensive because it’s a skilled trade. I put in the hours and continued education and not to mention $$ of products to insure ingredients are the best and the finished result looks the best. I also strictly do 1 dog at a time rather than stacking and because of that I lose out on more money than a typical grooming salon who does 4/5 dogs in one time slot. I love all my clients and their furbabies, but sometimes the amount of work that goes into grooming goes unnoticed, so Im gonna start making educational videos showing behind the scenes and what goes into a full groom. 🥰🐾 #grooming #doggrooming #doodlegrooming #doodles #happyholidays #groomingtips #costofgrooming #selfemployed #smallbusiness

Switching from corporate grooming where we crammed 20+ dogs onto our schedule a day, to only doing 5-7 dogs a day has made such a difference. I’ve noticed dogs are less stressed, owners are less stressed, and I’m less stressed 😅 my quality of work has improved and the dogs form a bond with me.
