My name is Nicole and trying to locate this sweet boy's owners. He's been hanging around our house for about a week now and showed up rather skinny with some severely matted fur, but he's so sweet and comfortable with people that it's obvious he belongs to someone. No one has filed a report for a missing cat matching his description at any shelters closer to us. We have flyers up and posts on lost pet social media accounts as well but have not received any responses yet, so we're reaching out to more distanced shelters just in case he wandered extra far from home.
Our local shelter confirmed he is not neutered and does not have a microchip. Our goal is to locate his owners and reunite them. Considering the state he first appeared in, he may have been missing for a while. He originally appeared on our front porch on the White County side of Duncan Bridge Road the morning of 12/22/2024. Attached is his photo and a file of the found pet flyer we have posted. If anyone is missing him or knows who is, they can call us at 706-725-9545. We'd love to reunite him with his people.
