Till made the trip from Germany to the beautiful Oregon Coast to hunt his first Rosevelt elk. After an exciting hunt, he finally got one! To remember this awesome experience, he decided to have a shoulder mount done as a cool keepsake from his adventure in Oregon.

We don’t get a lot of downtime, but we were invited to go to Kenai, Alaska to hone in our fish taxidermy skills with our good friend Rick Krane of Anglers Artistry out of New Hampshire. Rick is a world champion fish taxidermist, competition judge, instructor, and a truly remarkable individual. We met lots of great taxidermists including 2024 World Champion, Tim Daigle (Timbo). Went on a couple guided fishing trips on the Kenai and Big Lake for some good fishing and a great opportunity for tons of reference photos. Not only did we get up close with the fish, we saw bear, moose, Dall sheep and even a wolf! Below are some pictures of the workshop, some fun, and my finished project, a replica Sockeye salmon. We had a wonderful time and appreciate everyone that was there!

These rams were taken by two local youth hunters on a group hunt here in Oregon.
The dark ram is a Corsican, the white is a Painted Desert ram.
It’s always great to see youth learning to hunt, and very rewarding to support them.

One of a kind buffalo blanket with the Land of the Buffalo Pendleton wool backing. Look carefully and you can see the custom quilted Indian pattern-it added the perfect touch!
This was a Christmas gift so I included a matching stocking. Ho Ho Ho!
