WILD ANGELS GROOMING SALON
January 2024
Our goal is to provide the safest, most enjoyable grooming experience for you and your pets. We strive to provide the highest standards possible with our services. Below are some policies we
have developed to ensure the safety and happiness of your pets while in our care.
Vaccination Records
To protect the health and well-being of all pets at the salon, we must verify proof that your pet is completely up to date on their vaccinations before their appointment. Owners must provide proof
of current Rabies, Distemper, Parvo-Virus, and Bordetella (Kennel cough). Pets must not be vaccinated within 72 hours prior to their appointment. If a pet comes in before the 72 hours of having vaccines or not up to date, this will be treated as a last-minute cancellation, and fees will
apply.
Scheduling
In order for your pet to have the best services at our salon, we will preschedule your appointments for up to 6 months in advance to ensure your dog will always have an appointment. This will ensure grooming needs are met in a timely manner to avoid health concerns such as
matted fur, overgrown nails, and build-up around the private/sanitary areas. We understand that occasionally, we need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. We will confirm all appointments
in advance. Clients who do not follow the scheduling policy will be scheduled only after other clients have been accommodated. We reserve the right to decline future appointments for clients
who fail to keep a scheduled appointment. For the pet to properly respond to the groom, it is
essential that the pet be alone with the groomer and clients will not assist in the grooming.
Scheduled appts $40/hour
Non-scheduled appts $45/hour
By appointment only
Cancellation Policy
As a small business, we are affected greatly by cancellations/no-shows, which is why we have created a strict cancellation/no-show policy. If it is necessary to cancel/skip your grooming
appointment, we do ask for a 48-hour notice. No-call no-show and/or canceling without 48-hour notice will result in being billed $40. Your next appointment will be canceled until all fees are paid in full. If this happens more than two times, we will ask for payment in full before your next
grooming appointment. However, if you cancel or no-call no-show, the payment will not be refunded. We do understand that unexpected issues can occur without much notice. Please
notified us ASAP in those cases. Inclement Weather Policies: We do not adhere to the local
closures, however, if you know that you can not make it to your appointment, please call/text or email us as soon as possible. Our normal 48-hour cancellation policy does not apply where there
is inclement weather. We will respect anyone who requests to reschedule their appointment.
Late for Appointment
Being 15 minutes or later for an appointment is considered a no-show, and that is 100% of the
groom. Please give us 48 hour notice if you need a different time slot, and we will try to make arrangements to fit your needs. If your pet is picked up more than 30 minutes late when you're finished
there will be a $5 fee for every 15 minutes thereafter unless prior arrangements have been made. If your pet is late for pickup after we close, you will be charged $1 for every minute they are late
up to 30 minutes. We do know that "things happen," and therefore, pets not picked up 30 minutes after closing will be fed, watered, and housed overnight in our kennel at the owner's expense. When
showing up late, you are cutting into another customers grooming appointment and throwing the
whole days schedule off. We respect your time and assume you respect ours. We hope you understand that, like you, we have family and plans after we close.
Potty Time
Please take your pet to do its business before we begin ours. We ask that you please pick it up
and dispose of it in the trash can on the porch. There are also bags on the porch. We also ask that you keep your dogs from peeing/lifting in the flowerbeds and on the porch.
Entering/Exiting, Drop Off, Pick Up
All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier when entering and exiting the salon. Even if your dog listens well off leash, the road is busy at times, and we don't want to see any accidents happen. Also, there may be another dog in the shop when you enter, and even though your dog may love
everybody, the dog inside, might not. Having all pets leashed helps cut out any unforeseen conflicts among pets when in the shop. If you forgot your leash, please come inside and borrow one from us before getting your dog out of your car. Cats need to be in a carrier for safe transport to and from the salon. Dogs are not people; they require much more time and care to groom than we do and can certainly be unpredictable at times. When dropping off your pet, we will give a
timeframe of when we anticipate completion of services. Please keep in mind that grooming can be a very time-consuming and unpredictable process depending upon the dog's behavior and the condition of the coat, as well as when clients arrive for their appointments. We will do our best to manage to the approximated time given, but please understand that factors outside of our
control can influence how long the process may take. If you are waiting for your pet, please refrain from allowing your dog to see you as it will be difficult to finish your dog. If you need your pet returned by a certain time, please let us know prior to the groom. We are
happy to work with you as much as possible, but repeated calls to check on the readiness of your pet only cause further delay. We do make exceptions for working individuals who need to drop
before work and pick up after work, but We do need to be told of this when you set up your appointment so we can schedule the day accordingly.
Fleas
If fleas are found on your pet, a flea bath will be administered to eradicate the fleas in order to maintain salon sanitation. The bathing process can take up to an extra 30 minutes alone. This is NOT an option. If refusal of the flea bath, your dog will not be groomed until flea free.
Pet Health Conditions
Please advise us of any allergies, sensitivities, or pre-existing medical conditions so we can avoid
aggravating these situations. Please let us know of any prior grooming history you or your dog may not have found satisfactory. We want to avoid the repetition of poor or unpleasant
experiences or situations. We understand that some dogs are extremely sensitive to certain grooming procedures such as nail trimming and/or ear cleaning. It is not our intent to cause your dog discomfort, so although these are routine procedures normally performed for the well-being
of the pet, we will not continue with any grooming procedure that will cause pain, discomfort to the pet, or harm to the groomer. Sometimes, for a more sensitive dog, these procedures are best
left to the care of a veterinarian.
Refusal of Service/Aggressive Dogs
We will make every attempt to groom uncooperative pets, but we may not be able to complete grooming on pets that pose a threat to themselves or groomer. We reserve the right to decline a return appointment for pets whose behavior makes it unsafe for us to groom them. The customer also understands that all bites will be reported to the local authorities as required by law. The client may still be charged the price of the groom. For the safety of our other clients, please do not
bring an animal that has any type of contagious skin issue, disease, fungus, or worms. If we identify any problem, we will ask that you pick up your pet immediately and pay for the portion of grooming that was completed. We reserve the right to decline to serve pets that are not current
on vaccinations. We also will not groom any dog that has stitches or staples. It is by vets recommendation that you refrain from having your dog bath/groomed for 14 days after spaying/neutering or any other procedure that reguires your dog to have stitches.
Injuries
There is always the possibility of cuts, nicks, or burns during the grooming process. Some pets are harder to handle than others, and accidents can occur. There are also times when mat burns
show after they are shaved out. This is not caused by the groomer being careless but the severity of the mats. We will always do an inspection of your pet upon arrival and in the bathtub. Your
groomer will notify you of anything they find during those. Should any cuts occur during the grooming process, we will notify you immediately. Injuries caused due to the condition of the dog or cats matting is NOT the responsibility of the salon, and any vet costs due to these are at the expense of the owner.
Payment
We accept cash, check, and credit card. There is a $35.00 fee for bounced checks. Payment is expected at time of service. If a payment is not made on the day of the appointment, we reserve
the right to charge a $25.00 inconvenience fee daily and require prepayment for future appointments.
Appreciate Your Groomers

Re-do/ Satisfaction Policy
Sometimes it's easier to notice things at home than during the excitement of reuniting with your pet. Our groomers will always work to give your pet the cut that you want, however, keep in mind that your pets comfort and health are always our number one priority. We can not send a
dog or cat home in an unhealthy state. We will always keep notes on what was done for the groom. If you are unhappy with the results of your pet's grooming, contact us within 48 hours, and we will re-do the grooming by appointment at no additional charge.
Please Familiarize Yourself with Our Policies
Every client is required to read and sign this Policy Agreement prior to any grooming services
