Paws of Hope Animal Recovery Team is a group of dedicated volunteers who specialize in helping owners reunite with their missing dogs and cats. Paws of Hope is affiliated with Friends of the Animal in Tipton, IA a NO kill shelter. How we can help you while you try to locate you pet:
• Flyer Creation: We can help you design a custom lost flyer for you to post in stores, shelters, vet offices, etc
. by giving you pointers on what information to include.
• Where to post: We can assist you by giving you a list of places that are typical places to start sharing your fliers too. Services we can assist you with if we are available to take your pets case on:
• Ground assistance available in Lead locations.
• Ongoing emotional support: encouraging you not to lose hope.
• Social Media Development: Assistance with lost pet exposure on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumbler, and Pinterest. Exposure of your missing dog or cat is key.
• Flyer Creation: We can help you design a custom lost flyer for you to post in stores, shelters, vet offices, etc. Paw of Hope Animal Recovery Team is trained in various techniques for recovery and have extensive use of high-tech equipment to aid in their searches: GPS, two types of missy traps, live traps, Collarum, dart gun under a veterinarian’s care with day and night vision capabilities, trail cameras and 24/7 wireless surveillance systems. Availability of a drone, thermal imaging camera and ability to outreach to pull other safety teams in to keep pets safe from predators. Our team works in tandem with the Cedar County Sheriff’s Department, Cedar County DNR, multiple Cedar County Police Departments and Friends of the Animals in Tipton, IA (No kill shelter/501c3 nonprofit.)
