Hey all!

It is with a heavy heart that I will be leaving the administration position beginning tomorrow. This was not a decision I take lightly. Unfortunately life has taken me in a different direction. I love and will dearly miss working with the animals and my co-workers. Please consider adopting one of FOA's amazing pets as they deserve a forever home!

What better way to start the weekend then with an amazing dog!

Patches has been in foster care learning all the ropes of being an amazing family dog! Patches is good with dogs, cats, kids, and loves pretty much everyone! Patches came to FOA almost 4 months ago and has been regularly overlooked. This makes us so sad as we know just how awesome she is! She recently had her first birthday and even though her birthday wish hasn't been granted yet, she hopes it will be soon!

It's national pasta day!

What better day to showcase our favorite noodle! As soon as Ella gets picked up she's pretty floppy, she adores the attention! Ella is also a master biscuit maker! She shows off all her greatest qualities to everyone that comes in and is always heartbroken when they leave. We're hoping that the next person that comes in is able to patch that heartbreak and welcome her into their family! As of October 3rd it became apparent I no longer can give my full attention to my family and FOA and feel my family’s needs must come first. It saddens me to say I’m no longer with FOA. Meet Candy!

Candy was tested with kitties on 10-18-24 and did amazing!

This sweet girl has been through it all. She gave birth to 6 puppies in a ditch and cared for them all alone until they were 4 weeks old. Candy and her pups were then rescued but unfortunately it wasn't over yet. Candy and her pups could not stay in the previous facility and they were at risk! The whole crew was brought to FOA so that Candy could finish raising her pups in comfort. Unfortunately Candy is still homeless. With those cold months coming in fast she is hoping to have her very own cozy home!
