Meet Angel and Eddy! This brother, sister duo came to us thru no fault of their own.

Approximate Age 1.5 year old rat terrier mix.

Angel is a spayed female. Eddy is currently unaltered (will be neutered before he can be adopted!

They will be available for adoption soon! Stop by to meet them!

Appreciation Post!!

Without our wonderful donors, we couldn't keep doing what we do! We have had all of this donated over the last couple of weeks and have finally been able to catch up on photographs!

Due to unpredictable weather our shelter will be closed for everyone’s safety tomorrow February 12th. Our animals will be napping happily waiting to meet everyone starting back on February 13th! 🚨Stray Alert!🚨 REUNITED!!
This girl was found this morning off of Highway 38 about a mile before 130. She was brought into the shelter this morning. No Microchip. Slight limp. Very Friendly!!

If you recognize her, please give us a call to claim him @ 563-886-2361! A photo ID, proof of rabies and ownership will be required to claim him.

This handsome boy was brought in as a stray this morning! We'd love to see him get back to his people! We've attempted to contact the veterinarian on the rabies tag but they are closed for the day.

If you recognize or know him, please reach out to the shelter @ 563-886-2361. Proof of ownership including rabies cert, photos and/or vet records will be required to claim.

Thankful Thursday!

Kitten Season is right around the corner!

We took in 5 sweet babies this week who are approximately 4 weeks old! We would love to find them a foster home and keep other fosters on record to assist with foster placements for these babies when they are brought into the shelter!

Meet Cola & Ajax!

Cola & Ajax come to us as transfers from another shelter!

Cola is a female collie mix, believed to be just under a year old. She is athletic and loves to play outside in the yard. She is up to date on vaccines and is waiting for her appointment to be spayed.

Ajax is a male dachshund/terrier mix weighing in around 30 lbs. He loves people and knows how to turn on the charm. He is up to date on vaccines and has already been neutered!

Some awesome volunteers came in and helped us out a TON! One of the things they did was give Charlie a bath! He did great!!

Nutmeg is taking Easter egg hunting practice VERY seriously…. That green egg was no match for her stalking wiggle…. Nutmeg is available for adoption! If you need an Easter egg hunting partner she is ready to go!!! (Especially if they’re filled with catnip)
