Fun Fact Friday!

Let's talk double coated breeds for a minute. I know, I know this seems to be a touchy subject sometimes but here me out! I am fully exposing myself here because the pictures you see are both of my own dogs.

You can clearly see the difference between Annie and R***rs coats. The damage that shaving too short has caused on R***rs fur. It's dingy and the growth pattwrn is off for the different layers of fur. As Annie's is very shiny and evenly growing out. Unfortunately R***r had to be shaved short for medical reasons.

If any of my clients ever have questions I am happy to answer them!

Fun fact! I have been grooming Aussies for nearly 20 years! This passion all started with Australian Shepherds when I helped in my grandparents kennel with the show dogs. Then they gifted me my first little guy in 2004. The rest is history!
