This has been an absolutely heart crushing decision to make...

But at this time, I have decided to step away from grooming effective immediately due to health reasons. I'm so incredibly sorry to all of my clients that have been so loyal and understanding to me. This decision was not made lightly as I truly love and adore what I do and the relationships that I have obtained through Mack Avenue.

I am hopeful that this is just a temporary season to navigate through. 💜

I am still open for boarding and all boarding dates that are currently booked will remain that way. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

The last 24 hours has been absolutely heartbreaking but beautiful all at the same time.

Let me introduce to you all, Faith "Sweetie" Todd!

She was dumped in Morgan County and literally barely hanging onto life. Covered in thousands of ticks and fleas, emaciated to just skin and bones, yet she still believes that every human is good and welcomes them to give her belly rubs when you greet her. 🥺

She came to Mack Avenue last night to get cleaned up and get some flea/tick treatment. I pulled ticks off of her for over 2 hours. I did the best I could given the state she was in and just hoped that it was good enough to get her moving in a better direction. She spent the last 24 hours here receiving lots of love, comfort, and really good food before heading to her forever home tonight.

She really has made such big improvements already, but we all know that this is going to be a long road to recovery for her...which can get expensive sometimes. She is believed to be a great dane mix, possibly about a year old which means she will need LOTS of good food to get her back to an acceptable weight. Nothing is cheap these days and I would really love to help the family that adopted her! My venmo will be in the comments for whoever feels led to help support Faiths recovery

I know some have wondered since the page went silent months ago...yes, I am still here! Just busier than ever so it limits my time to post content.

Just a quick little update while I am here! I am booked solid and unfortunately that means I am unable to take any new grooming clients at this moment. If that status changes I will keep this page updated. Thank you all for the continued support and glowing reviews of Mack Avenue!

Our boy Ruger loves his bath times! He loves to get the extra scrubs while washing and is pretty smitten over the heated blow dryer. PSA - Sitting on the ground and not leashed is only a common practice for my own dogs while grooming. They have had plenty of practice and training 😊
