Our week is of to a great start! Bumpers yesterday, ducks, and poppers for all the dogs today! we have 16 young dogs trying to become started and seasoned level dogs! A good group of pups definitely makes training fun!

HR SK’s Grand Slam is still available and in need of a hunting home! Dinger is running finished level hunt test scenarios, great blinds, and chasing cripples! He has a great desire to please and willing to learn! He is great around children and is house broke. Would make someone a great hunting dog this season! GRHRCH UH “Ten Bears Agustus Macray” MH had him a nice day in Stuttgart Arkansas picking up specks! Gus helped pick up a 13 man limit and a band! Couldn’t ask for a better hunting dog than Gus! Thanks Tyson Harris for taking Gus and handling him well!

Introducing the newest grand dog at the kennel, GRHRCH UH “Ten Bears Augustus Macray” MH (600+ points)! We had very tough and challenging test but Gus made it all the way through the 5th and obtained his well deserved grand title! We would also like to brag about our other dogs that didn’t make it to the 5th! Jack, Molli, Rumor, Buck, and Koozie gave it there 100% through pre training and through the grand! If you know anything about the grand, you know how hard it is! Jack and Molli are litters mates who’s out of Gus. For their first grand appearance, they made us very proud! They just turned two! Very bright futures for these pups!

Strong started/weak seasoned dog ready for hunting! Maddie will make an excellent hunting companion or a good hunt test prospect! She’s an excellent marking dog, steady to shot, running basic seasoned doubles land and water, good land blinds, weak water blinds. She’s an intact 21 month old female that’s bread very nicely. She’s out of GRHRCH “Boo” MH MNH X HR “Nellie” SH! Maddie is the sister of our very own HRCH Sheppard’s Key To Success!

We have a 4 year old finished level Chesapeake ready for a hunting home! He’s UKC and AKC registered and also has his Hunting Retriever title! Dinger is doing nice finished work, and has also trained some to shed hunt. We originally trained Dinger when he was younger, but we acquired him from a passed client with plans to give him a good tune up. He blossomed quickly! Dinger is great in the house, crate trained, great with children, and generally good with other dogs. When we first acquired him, it took some time for him to adjust being around so many other dogs, but now he airs with 15 other male dogs at once, and absolutely no fussing or fighting. He would do great in a family oriented hunting home! Pedigree can be send upon request. His blind video will be posted in the comments. Trimmed and shortened video to post!

We had a great weekend at the Central Alabama HRC hunt test this past weekend! Passing 11-12 dogs and bringing home three new “Hunting Retriever” titles! This was kind of a clean up test for our seasoned dogs and they performed very nicely! We want to thank all the great judges, bird techs, and BBFF Kennels for making this a smooth weekend!
