What a great day today at the Lotus Show Series for the QVF team! We came, we rode, we conquered! Randi Durkin rode Moontide Maverick, owned by Denise Killian, to Champion in the Hopeful Hunters! First hunter show ever! Juli Rye piloted her Clyde and had good rounds as well in the Hopeful Hunters, first show ever in the USA and their first hunter courses! And Morgan Windish rode Rose Earling’s Kingdom Z to Champion in the Schooling/Suitable Hunters! Congrats to the team, we are so proud of everyone! Special thanks to Randi for her help in training Maverick to jump like a little hunter!

For partial (inexpensive) care lease at our farm! “Maverick”, our 14 yo, 14.3h Arabian gelding, versatile and super fun to ride with his dressage training, and now jumping small courses! Suitable for an intermediate rider looking to learn the movements. He is light and responsive to the aids, and is quiet enough to hack out alone or in company. We call him the little sports car! Congrats to Kim Coleman and Fagedaboudit Pal on laying down one of their best trips ever, at the Gleneayre 2’6” Hunter Derby today! Beautiful weather, pretty jumps, and everything we’ve been working on, coming together at once! A mere slip of the lead behind kept us out of the second round, but we are so pleased with their performance today! ❤️

Crazy weather day, but the girls hung in there!

The day started out rainy and chilly at the PEL finals at Princeton today, as Kim Coleman and Fagedaboudit Pal had good rounds in the 2’6” Derby, then the sun finally appeared as Kaitlin Neville rode Kingdom Z, (owned by Rose Earling), to third overall in the Child/Adult 3’ Medal! Yay girls!

We had a wonderful day of equestrian learning with these super Girl Scouts, troop #71829 based in Princeton NJ! These smart young girls were here at QVF earning their Horse Lover’s Badge! Cartier was a good boy and stepped right up to help the girls learn about being good horsewomen! Shout out to their troop leader, Alexia Burnett, for organizing this day!

Good going today for Kim Coleman and Fagedaboudit Pal at the CJL show in the 2’6” Schooling Hunter division, earning 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th out of a huge class! Getting the hang of this Hunter stuff!

The QVF team had a fun day today at the NJHP Outreach! Congrats to Rowan Cole showing Amaretto in the 2’3” Hopeful Hunters, earning 2,6,7,7! And another successful road trip for Shauna McKenzie and Redemption (Dillinger), their first show in how many years??, 4ths and 3rd in the 2’3” Hopefuls and 3,4,4,4 in the Outreach 2’6” Schooling Hunters! Big stuff for this boy!! Great riding! Way to go, ladies! Yay to our support team, Jason, Lynda, and Alex!

It was a beautiful day today at the Outreach Festival at Princeton Show Jumping, with Kim Coleman and Fagedaboudit Pal earning 2nd, 5th., and 5th. in the 2’6” Hunter Division out of a large group of finalists! Way to go!
