Today, we say goodbye to a very special soul, Dude. Although we never got the chance to formally introduce him to all of you, Dude and his story touched our hearts in a way that words can’t fully capture.

At 13 years old, Dude came into our care needing TLC and a safe place to rest his paws. He was placed with our Executive Director, Susan, who fostered him with all the love and attention he could want. From there, Dude found an even bigger family with Greg, one of our volunteers, and his wonderful family.

Though we didn’t get to spend as much time with Dude as we had hoped, we are grateful that he found comfort in his final days. Our page will go dark for the rest of the evening in his honor.

Rest in peace, sweet boy. You will never be forgotten. 🐾💙

Today is Change a Pet's Life Day and Thor is here to show you the difference love can make! ❤️

Thor’s journey wasn’t easy. After being adopted and returned multiple times and battling other health issues, he finally found his perfect match with Mikayla and David. Now Thor spends his days “managing” an auto shop where he greets customers, supervises repairs, and tries his best not to take too many naps on the clock.

Every adoption, foster home, volunteer hour, and donation helps pets like Thor find their happy endings. Because of people like YOU, pets in need can go from uncertain futures to lives filled with love.

Let Thor inspire you to make a difference today. Learn more about how you can help change the life of a pet through our website.

Patch heard rumors about this thing called "snow" happening in Florida. Now he's just waiting... and waiting... and waiting... to see it for himself. ⛄

Being a Florida pup, Patch has never seen "snow" (whatever that is?), but he’s heard it makes things cold and white, like... ice cream? Patch is a playful, active 1-year-old pup who’s great with other dogs, kids, and even been around cats. He’s just looking for a family to go on adventures with, especially so he can figure out this snow business.

You can meet Patch at our adoption center at 6035 Sisson Road in Titusville.

Did you know only about 20% of orange cats are female? That makes Cheez It a rare gem in our book! 🧡✨

Cheez It came into our care with kittens and a case of ringworm, but now she's healthy, happy, and ready to shine in a home of her own! She may not be a sourdough expert, but her biscuit-making skills are second to none. She’s a friendly girl who adores people, gets along wonderfully with other cats, and her favorite past time is collecting toys.

You can bring this rare treasure home by meeting her at our adoption center at 6035 Sisson Road in Titusville!

Meet Wheels, a 4-month-old kitten who came into our care after being hit by a car. Initially we thought he may have just been paralyzed, but it turned out he had life-threatening internal injuries. After undergoing an emergency diaphragm hernia repair surgery to reposition his internal organs, we are relieved to report that Wheels’ surgery was a success! 🙌

Thanks to our amazing medical team and the care he’s receiving, Wheels is making incredible progress. He’s currently in a loving foster home where he’s getting daily care and physical therapy. He’s even starting to use the bathroom on his own, a huge milestone! But he still has a long road ahead, especially given his young age.

To continue supporting his recovery, we are in need of puppy pads, wipes, and a wheelchair and sling for his physical therapy.

How You Can Help:

🐾 Donate through our Amazon Wish List for Wheels
🐾 Or make a designated donation for "Wheels the Cat" through this post or the 🔗 in the comments

Thank you for your generosity and for supporting of Wheels' recovery! Make sure to hit that "follow" button for updates on Wheels and all the animals in our care.

Today is Classy Day and there isn't an animals classier than Doc Martin! 👞

This 10-year-old, doctorate-holding Seniorologist is the type of classy gentleman you can rely on like your favorite pair of shoes. Worn in, comfy, and ALWAYS ready for an adventure (as long as it involves a toy, of course).

Now you might be thinking, "10 years old? He's got to be so chill!" But he’s still got the pep in his step! Whether you’re strolling down the sidewalk or attending a high-society dog gathering (he's great with other dogs!), Doc’s ready to charm with his goofy personality and wagging tail.

Is your wardrobe missing a classic? Add Doc Martin to your home today by visiting our adoption center at 6035 Sisson Road in Titusville.

Did you know you can’t have a bad day at work if you adopt Trudy and then don’t go to work to spend time with her? 😆

This 2-year-old sweetheart came into our care as a pregnant mama, raised her babies, and watched them all find loving homes. Now it’s her time to shine and find a family to call her very own! Trudy is a snuggle enthusiast who will melt your heart with her cuddles. Did we mention she has extra toes? This means more toes for kneading biscuits (and looking extra adorable). She might even get along with other cats if you introduce them slowly.

Ready to make your home a little sweeter? Trudy’s waiting to meet you at our adoption center at 6035 Sisson Road in Titusville.
