It’s time to get in the holiday spirit 🎄 ❄️ ⛄️ Come out and visit us on Saturday December 4th at the First Annual Commons Stroll in Little Compton. Support local businesses from 2-5pm. We’ll have a table and be giving away handkerchiefs, snacks, toys, and holiday cheer- singing loud for all to hear! (Jk, we can’t sing.) We hope to see you there! 🐾

Happy Veterans Day! 🇺🇸 🐾

Salty Paws is always thankful for our Veterans and their service to our amazing country!

Salty Paws is proud to have a Veteran as part of our team. Meet Alycia! Alycia is a certified veterinary technician, helping Dr. Goyette on appointments and in surgery. She is a US Army Veteran, amazing mom, cross fit trainer and black coffee lover (with an extra shot of espresso). She is an incredibly hard worker, kind person, and spends lots of time laughing to podcasts in the car with Dr. Goyette. (Two paws up from handsome Rottweiler Blaze! 🐾) Thank you for your service Alycia!

Also on Veterans Day, we’d also like to thank our military working dogs for their loyal service!

Adoption alert!!! 🚨🐾

Finnegan is not exactly pleased that his parents brought a foster dog home… 🤣😂 … and would rather get her a forever home as soon as possible! (They get along fine, he’s just got to show how he really feels!)

Hummus is a 5 month old spayed, female lab/hound mix. She is very sweet, and apparently loves to hang out in bushes! Haha 🍃

Happy Friday!!!

Let’s meet a member of the Salty Paws family. Salty Paws is very thankful to have Cait on our team! Cait works as a vet tech on appointments with Dr. Goyette. Behind the scenes she is also a multi-tasking guru answering emails, phone calls, and doing admin work. Cait is our resident cat whisperer, music and podcast lover. She’s an incredibly hard worker who always has a smile on her face. She has lots of experience working with fearful dogs and sorting out behavioral situations with cats. Many of you may have spoken to her on the phone – either scheduling, with questions, or talking out a concern. Her calm but confident demeanor is just a few of the qualities we love about Cait. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our Salty Paws family!

🐕: Toys and treats together?? Yes please!!

Now that summer is over and everyone is back to school, we are often asked about ways to keep pets busy while they are home alone. If you have a pet that loves food, one of our favorites is - food and puzzle toys! Not only are they good ways to prolong feeding time and play some mental gymnastics for our senior friends, it keeps them occupied to decrease anxiety/destructive behavior, ease exits from the house, and help with weight management.

Hi Salty Paws! 🐾

Thank you for your understanding, well wishes, and support while Dr. Goyette is away on maternity leave! She wanted to let you know that in August, she had a sweet baby boy named Owen. He is about to turn one month old, and is ready for his first Patriots tonight (let’s go Mac Jones 🏈)!!!

Thank you to those who have checked in! Dr, Goyette is still on leave will be back for appointments again in mid-October.

Good morning Salty Paws Family! We wanted to let you all know that Dr. Goyette will be going on maternity leave starting in early August! She will step away from appointments for a while, with plans to return in October.

If you are an existing client - we’ll still be monitoring emails and voicemails while Dr. Goyette is away! We can refill medications, heartworm/flea/tick prevention, and help with questions/concerns.

Miss Tessy was spayed this week. She is feeling wonderful, but felt her recovery collar did not meet her fashion standards. So she traded it in for this cute pink ensemble with white detail 🌸 🐾
