The Coop is open this week!!

Our Coop Community Partner for November is A&A Cinnamon Creations.

As they approach their upcoming 4 year anniversary, the mother-daughter duo of A & A Cinnamon Creations is excited to share their unique products with The Coop in November as the Coop Community Partner.

Annette and Ariel have been a part of our Riverwood family for over 17 years and Annette’s grandson, Leevi, is a student rider here as well.

All of A&A’s products are handmade at their home in Mount Airy using just 3 ingredients: cinnamon, cloves and applesauce. These handcrafted products are not only unique and beautiful but they also smell absolutely amazing! A fragrant addition to your holiday décor and they also make great gifts.

They will be offering several new styles of Christmas ornaments and one-of-a-kind Cinnamon Christmas trees!!

So come on out during November Coop week to support their small business and The Coop!

The Coop is open next week!!

Come out for farm-fresh eggs, Camino Bread, Wright Apiary honey, and much, much more!!

-We've also had yet another donation of family-friendly movies on DVD's and Blu-Ray. Choose from your favorites, including several Disney movies, for only $2.00 each!!
-Pottery by Christine continues to be a huge hit, and we are restocked! ALL proceeds from the sale of her pottery go to Riverwood's programs.
-We still have our Riverwood visors and ballcaps (on sale!) in every color conceivable, all courtesy of our friends and partners at Sew NC!! In addition, we have brought out our Riverwood toboggans and headbands/ear muffs. We have a limited supply, but more are currently being embroidered.

Big congrats to our 2024 Hoof Beat 50/50 Cash Raffle drawing winner, Jesse Kirby!! We tried something new this year and asked 3 of our students to each draw a name and then we let Chance choose the winner with a head nudge. Thank you to Jesse and everyone who supported our fundraiser!! Best of all, Mr. Kirby has generously donated his winnings back to Riverwood!! Thank you so much!!

Thanks to our amazing team who drew the cash raffle winner. CONGRATS to our 50/50 cash raffle winner - Shea Crutchfield! Huge thank you to everyone who participated in our “Fill the Feed Room” fundraiser and contributed to our incredible herd. We were able to reach our goal of 50 bags of feed and fill our hay loft!

Help Pet “Fill Our Feed Room!” This month we are fundraising for our incredible herd and stocking their feed room. Our horses go through about 9 bags of feed a week, so our goal this month is to raise enough for 50 bags of grain and fill our hay loft! It’s serious nap time this morning at the farm… turn up the volume for some sweet sounds.

Hi friends! My name is Flash and I’ve been a Riverwood herd member for a LONG time. Before I joined Riverwood, I was a pretty spectacular cutting horse in the state. I’m a senior member of the herd- almost 36 years old- but the Riverwood promise is that all of us will have a forever home, even when we can’t carry riders anymore. I’ve carried my share of students who had different needs and now I’m getting special care as I age. I’d like to invite you to help take care of us old guys.
