When it comes to raising animals, we here at MME always remember that all of our animals are special and rely on us to care for them.

During this rare snow storm, some rats chewed through their water line and flooded their tub. Luckily we check on them daily, sometimes multiple times a day. Two females were freezing and wet. We immediately went into action, warming them up and making sure they would be ok.

One female is already back on her feet, while the other is slowly seeming to come around.

All little lives here at MME under our care matter. Please keep a watchful eye on your pets during this crazy weather!

This handsome boy is getting shipped to his new home on Monday! One thing you need to remember when shipping any animal is to keep an eye on the weather! Since it has been a bit cold lately, the best temps for this little man will be the beginning of next week to keep him safe.

We will miss him, but babies need to leave the nest 🤣

When my parents come to visit, they always spoil the animals too! This trip my dad made the snakes a jungle gym so when we are deep cleaning enclosures, they have something to explore on where they are safe. And it's even big enough for our boas! Thank you Alan Friedberg !!

**Warning!! Feeding picture**

Some good news over here at MME! Sometimes baby snakes, when they hatch, don't get the whole eating thing. Some need help by assist feeding or force feeding in extreme cases.

We have a little male Super GHI here that was supposed to be a twin, meaning that there was an undeveloped baby in the egg with him. Since he hatched he has not wanted to eat so we have been helping him out. The idea behind doing this is that hopefully, at some point, instinct will kick in.

Well today he ate all on his own!! We were so happy we had to take a few pictures and told him he was the best boy

Our hearts are heavy as another great advocate for reptiles and the animal community has passed away. Dingo Dinkleman will be missed, gone too soon. We are very fortunate to have met Dingo last year, along with his wonderful family. Always one to educate, Dingo spread his passion for reptiles everywhere he went. Rest easy, and tell Brian how much we miss him!

Just wanted to show some love to our boa babies! These are the two we are keeping. The first one is a male normal het kahl (albino) and the second is a female hypo aztec het kahl. They are already so amazing at only 3 months old, we can't wait to see them when full grown! Don't forget, they still have brothers and sisters looking for homes. We have male and female normals and hypos left, so message us with any questions!

We had an AMAZING time at the South Georgia Reptile Expo this weekend! We saw some old friends, and made some new ones. Lots of our babies found new homes so we pray they are all loved
