Summer time is the perfect time for a De-shed bath! Shep here is a great example! The process we use helps get rid of all the extra loose fur that stays trapped in their coat. This helps them regulate their body temperature when it’s hot out- with the added bonus of keeping that fur off your carpets!

Baby Bella visited earlier this week for her very first groom! At only eight weeks, she’s already almost 30 pounds! We’re thrilled to be able to watch her grow up- she’s a beautiful pup!

Cutest Miska came in for a bath and de-shed last week and left a substantial amount of fur on our tables! Don’t forget that we have doubled our capacity and have a lot of appointments available for new and returning clients!

Today we had a full house! Five sweet guests from Toccoa-Stephens County Humane Shelter, Inc. came by today to get spruced up for an adoption event tomorrow! All of these dogs would make for great family pets and get along great with other dogs. I've added the links to their adoption pages to each of their photos so be sure to reach out to the shelter for more information!

This lovely boy, Lucky, is happy to announce that for the month of June we will be giving a free shampoo upgrade to every pup! Soothing oatmeal, fragrant citrus, and brightest white just to name a few! We hope that this summer is full of dogs who feel (and smell) their best!

PSA to our local Toccoa residents- two dogs in the last week have come to us with these seeds embedded in their skin. They’re from a plant called Black-Seeded Spear Grass (piptochaetium avenaceum) that grows in our wooded areas. Please be aware of the outdoor spaces your pups frequent and if this grass is present, be sure to give them a good looking over when they come inside. Unprompted scratching and biting can be a sign of a foreign body in your dog’s skin or fur.
