Breeding Season for most is fast approaching. This Coyote Creek 2053 son is looking for new pastures.

He came in utero through a bred ewe purchase. His birthday and genetics were a little different than what is normally in our program so we left him intact. We have decided to sell him private treaty rather than through either of the fall consignment sales and pass that savings on to the buyer.

Reasonable and ready to be turned out with your females. His time has come to move on as we need to prep for next year's wether crop.

Looking for one that is unique in his build and good enough to play on multiple levels? He is an unexpected outcross that we are extremely pleased with.

This is a legitimate April born that should be extremely easy to feed. Push him hard to win the breed at your County Fair, then I see him as a competive lightweight at San Antonio where little correct white ones seem to dominate.

Drought Reduction continues. These are not culls. Dams and sisters to some of the better ones we have sold the past two years. The ewes have some age, but are papered and the price reflects this. Breeding aged ewes are open and ready to take to the sire of your choice to produce your next champion. Selling as one package.

Drought is causing us to cut back. 5 YO White Purebred. Was Tatum’s 2018 show ewe, so as gentle as the neighborhood dog. Good bag and consistently has twins. She is open, so breed her to the champion of your choice. $300. This beast is looking for a special exhibitor. We think an older experienced show person can have lots of fun with this one. He will not be beat by muscle, and for the amount he possesses, he packs it on an appropriate frame. Yes he is lazy middles and why we suggest someone that can keep him gathered up. He will win lots of breeds and reserves on the jackpot trail, just as his maternal brother did for the Roper family last year. That one went on to place 3rd at San Angelo.Sold

This wether is looking for a special showman. He probably needs an older experienced exhibitor that can present him at his full potential. He does not ever get out powered and beats 95% in this breed on mass alone. His maternal sub was 3rd in his Class at San Angelo last year and he won several breed and reserve division champion honors during his jackpot campaign.

We have had a lot of success either raising or placing lightweight Dorpers for folks over the past 4 years at the Texas Majors. I can honestly say this one has the potential to be the best one yet. We have 5 wethers this year. This is the least of the bunch. If you need one call and get on the list. They will not last long. Barn is open this weekend.

Folks this one is the real deal. The first person to come see him live will buy him. He has the right rib shape, is great through his neck and shoulder, and will have muscle to burn in a couple of months. I will be heading south on Sunday.

Offering twin wethers out of Tatum’s show ewe and by a Mirror C ram that did wonders for us. These need to go to excellent feeders with a top notch show person on their head. In the realm of what we have produced before, they are that good. Mid-April’s so made to be pushed hard right up to your target show.

Running TC Livestock still has wethers like these two ready for new homes. If you are in the Brownwood area or on the hunt for Dorpers in our neck of the woods this week, it is worth a trip to Tolar and see this set.

Yes, Tatum Christie graduated and with some misfortune, I was getting out, but the kids came to me and wanted to pick up and go forward so here we are. The rain put us a week behind, but barring another flood between now and then, we will start showing sheep this weekend. We don’t have many, but we have County placing lambs, lambs that will win their breed at most County Fairs that have a Dorper or Hair Division and at least a couple as good as our major show placing lambs over the past 3 years. I’m no photographer and am not taking anymore or any videos. Come see them if you think they are something you might be interested in.

TSC Dorpers along with Running TC Livestock will begin marketing lambs on May 1st. Be watching for photos. Lambs available for all budgets and exhibitor goals. If you are in the area shopping, be sure and set up an appointment to stop by and see what is available.
