Any pet oriented items can be dropped off during our regular scheduled hours.

Welcome Dr. Lopez to Shoreland Animal Hospital. She will be starting this Friday and we are excited to have her join our team.

Dr. Gina (Burdo) Lopez, DVM grew up in Point Place on 282nd Street. She attended St. John the Baptist Catholic church and elementary school. After she graduated from Whitmer High School, she went on to do her undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University where she received a Bachelor of Science. She then attended The Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has been employed in the Northwest Ohio area for over 25 years. Dr. Lopez has had a myriad of pets throughout the years which included a dog, Jackson chameleon, a bearded dragon, ferrets, horseshoe crabs, hamsters, rats, fish, and frogs, but currently has 2 cats, 2 turtles, and 1 leopard gecko. She resides in the suburbs of Toledo with her three grown children.

Meet Licensed technician Elizabeth “Liz”

New Hire since August.. welcome to the family!

In her free time Liz enjoys theater, Harry Potter, reading, painting & drawing, and cross-stitch.

Liz is married to her wonderful husband Matt for 4 years and has 3 pet children including a chinchilla “Joey”, a cat “Georgie”, and a dog “Bowie”.

We are happy to have her as part of our team and look forward to watching her grow into her tech role🐾❤️

Meet Licensed Veterinary Technician Elizabeth “Beth”

Beth joined us in August and Although she has been with us a short time, she is striving to be a great technician!

Beth has a cat of her own named “Itty Bitty” and two dogs named Frost & Xena.

When not at work she enjoys swimming (anything water related), reading, and campfire nights with family and friends!

Although the job can be trying.. she wouldn’t trade it for anything else!!

We are glad Beth has joined the Shoreland family❤️❤️

Meet Licensed Technician Christine ❤️

Christine has been with Shoreland for 7years!! She personally owns 3 dogs (Logan, Streak, & Havoc), 1 cat Hubert, fish, 2 crested geckos, and multiple chickens!! In her free time she enjoys chasing around her two kids along with crafting & sewing. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, camping, and kayaking!!

We would be lost without her and appreciate all she does on a daily basis to help our clients and her coworkers!!
