A huge congratulations goes out to Elvis and his owner on successfully passing the AKC Canine Good Citizen test! 🥳

Elvis has been working with us since he was 10 weeks old and we are so proud of both him and his owner for the incredible effort and patience it took to get to this point 🤩

Now to get ready for the Urban and Community tests!

Meet Gilly!

This sweet girl is a little nervous around strangers and also wants to make friends with every dog she sees.

We also have a long term goal of getting Gilly comfortable around a potential new housemate so stick around for updates on her journey!

It's always fun to get creative with training solutions! And look at those results 🙌

With a goal of walking two small dogs we opted to use a double hands-free leash set up to allow for Hannah's hands to be available to reward both Roger and Champ for walking nicely at her side.

Chance was such a good boy on our outing to see our friends at Hollywood Feed- Holland.

He helped me pick out lots of yummy training treats and we got to practice our polite greetings with strangers.

It's the little things that make our training different 😊 Elvis is 8 months old and capable of making the excellent choice of disengaging from the barking dog and instead following dad with very little prompting! We believe in letting dogs be dogs and not having to nag them constantly, instead our training focuses on teaching them how to make decisions for themselves 🙌 #buddingpawslife #dogtraining

Posie Plays at the Vets!

I'm overdue to give you all an update on Posie! This sweet girl is very nervous in new environments and is especially shy of people which makes trips to the vet very difficult for her. As part of her Greenhouse Program we did some "Happy Visits" to her vet to work on being comfortable in the space. This quick video is from our second trip where she was able to relax enough to engage in play with me! This was a huge break through for her and while she still has a ways to go I'm very proud of the progress she has made.
