Pearl finally gave birth to 𝟱 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀 just in time for the start of Spring! These little ones are too young to say for sure what their genders are, and have not been named yet!

If anyone has any name suggestions we would love to hear them! We'll post later with their new names chosen by YOU.

Mocha was very scared and skittish meeting new people, and we worried about finding an adopter with the patience and understanding to work through her fears. We promised to keep you updated on Honey! The doggie with a rubber band wrapped around her ear.

𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲! Her foster reports that she is an amazing dog, well behavied and sweet as can be! However; we have bad news and good news regaurding her recovery. 😨

𝘉𝘢𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘶𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘢 𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘏𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺'𝘴 𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘤 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘋𝘳. 𝘉𝘰𝘶𝘥𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴. 😭

The good news? 𝙄𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙪𝙡𝙡𝙮! We're pretty confident that she will get to keep her ear and make a full recovery! Now its just daily bandage changes, antibiotics, and a whole lot of TLC! 🥰

We have been overwhelmed with amazing people who are interested in adopting Honey. She is not yet ready for adoption, but we will keep everyone posted as we navigate through her healing process!

𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬!! 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐚 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 👀

Bodie (brown) and Apollo (white) are two German Shepherd (mix?) puppies here at the rescue! 🥰

🐾 Bodie is 5-months-old and kind of looks like a German Shepherd got hit with a shrink ray. He was surrendered to us after his owner bought him from a breeder who told them he wouldn't get bigger than 15lbs (he's currently 35 lbs). He's a little ball of sunshine and energy and he loves everyone he meets! 🐾

Apollo is 4-months-old and is still growing into his face. Seriously, look at those ears and tongue! He was surrendered to us after his barking got his owner in trouble with their apartment complex. He is a fast learner and already knows some of his basic commands. He also loves everyone and greets strangers with kisses and a wagging tail. 🐕‍🦺

Meet Maxx! No he isn't meditating or sleeping. . . 𝙝𝙚 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣'𝙩 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙚𝙮𝙚𝙨!😑

You see, Maxx has a condition called 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻. Entropion is a condition where the eyelid rolls inward, causing the eyelashes or hair to rub against the eye. This can lead to discomfort, irritation, and potential damage to the eye. 🙀

Luckily this condition can be remedied with a pretty expensive procedure. For him to be able to see again it is totally worth it! 👁👁

Kitten season started with a 𝘽𝘼𝙉𝙂! 💥

Seriously, we went from having 𝘯𝘰 𝘬𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴 to having 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴 in 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 24 𝙝𝙧𝙨. We took in 16 and are still being flooded with calls mostly for moms with newborns. 🙀

We have two nursing moms and a pregnant kitty who would benefit greatly from being placed in a foster home. Not to mention it opens up space for us to accept more mamas at the Rescue! 🐈

💔 Today we were reminded why we do what we do. Poor Honey was found in a crate in a field and dropped off to us in obvious distress. Her ear was severely swollen, red, painful, and infected. We suspected a hematoma, but nothing could've prepared us for what we found. 😱

Upon Dr. Boudouris’s detailed exam, he found that 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗮 𝗿𝘂𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗿. Thats right, someone 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 did this to her 😡. We are hopeful that we found it quickly enough so that she doesn't lose the ear, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭. 😢
