One of the hardest things in dealing with Trigeminal Neuralgia is trying to make sense of the chronic pain and still have a life.

Yesterday was a rough night. Took some extra meds and just trying to figure what it was that TN hated. Was it the dog walk, library, planting sunflowers, ate tomatoes or is just an a$$hole. I’m leaning toward the a$$hole. I told one of my neurologists once that it just hated life. It can drive you crazy trying to find links. And most likely the ones you find aren’t the right ones.

So thankful for Winston’s Dad. Because without him holding things down when I flare I’m not sure where I’d be. I know it would be very difficult if not impossible to get the dogs out for potty time in the morning and that would be a huge problem. There are 100 other things from keeping track of my appointments to being my driver when I need him.

Spent the afternoon at the library making a single serving tart. It was a lot of fun. My tart turned out pretty good. It was an inter generational event so I sat with a couple of very sweet teens.

I highly recommend that you check out your library system for free events. And go to different libraries in your area so you get sample what is out there in your community.

I have a couple of more things scheduled including tea tasting & spice making.

Or are woken up early by their husband and say “I wish I was a camel so I could spit in your face”. Not sure where that came from. However Winston’s Dad had the opportunity to say it back to me this morning.

Maybe I’m a greeting card designer in my sleep. For the cards we want to send, but aren’t available.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Buster! He has been such a good addition to our family. He’s fun, smart, loving and the best companion his Dad and I could ask for.

He is true to his breed and we are so thankful to preservation breeders who have allowed us to have such wonderful pets.

I wanted to go back to bed after letting the boys out. But then this happened before I got there. It’s the first time she’s trusted me since the last vet visit.

She was also extra cute this morning. Buster pooped on the patio and she was very adamant that she needed to bury it.

The MLA wants to come in and Buster wants to go out. Both want me to go with them. It’s a beautiful day, so we were able to convince Aster to spend some time inside.

So proud of Buster. He had a huge accomplishment yesterday. He did not chase or bite at the lawnmower.

Instead he came over to me to play Control Unleashed games and get a treat. This is a really big deal.

And I was clueless when it happened. We played the game that he wanted. But it took me until the next day to realize what had initiated with me.

“It looks like we are doing all that we can for you. Have you considered surgery?” Today’s neurologist visit. Cleveland Clinic said no to future surgeries. So here I am. Off work until 10/2/24. I’m going to be figuring future insurance out.

You know it’s got out when I pass up an opportunity at the Farmers Market to ask a guy that wants my signature on a petition to hold my melons while I sign.

However I did sign and he did hold my melons.

That’s not a new cement deer. I’m still waiting to get someone strong enough to help unload her.
