Created as a safe place to allow dogs the ability to run free and socialize with other dogs, Glass City Dog Park has become much more than a place for dogs to burn off excess energy. The park has become a community unto itself, where members take care of the park, fellow dogs, and community members!

Glass City Dog Park is a non profit park. All membership fees go to running the park. Things like mowing the lawn, website fees, p**p bags, electricity, and more! This Giving Tuesday we hope you’ll consider making a contribution to Glass City Dog Park (under the Toledo Ohio Pet Services 501c3).

Here’s the pics from the big dog swim this year!

Some of our favorite moments include: watching a Labrador get frustrated they couldn’t fit every tennis ball in their mouth, seeing an owner sit patiently with their dog who wasn’t comfortable joining the play and getting soaked by a stampede of dogs running through the shallow end.

So here is part two, which mostly contains the medium size dog group. This group loved the water and loved running up to us to shake their wet fur all over our equipment. We knew what we were getting into.

Here’s a great way to support canine cancer research. Join the walk tomorrow for Andy's Army Canine Cancer Awareness Project

In person registration for our walk is 10-11 am on Sept. 15 at Three Meadows Park, Perrysburg. $20 single, $30 family, and $10 Fit Dog. Raffle tickets are 3 for $5, 8 for $10, and 20 for $20. We would appreciate cash or check if possible. Thanks! See you soon.

Thank you Andy's Army Canine Cancer Awareness Project for joining our celebration today! We are grateful for your important work in the community. 🐾

We will be vending on Sat, Aug 17, noon till 4pm at the Glass City Dog Park's birthday party. Stop by our table for Lupine leashes & collars, Andy's Army t-shirts, dog toys, totes, & towels. We will also have info about how you can participate our Lumps & Bumps early K9 cancer detection program. See you there.
