We are checking in with the Pifer family after they dropped off cats for TNR this morning! We found out what Humane Ohio means to them and listened as they told us their story. The cat distribution system found them and with our low-cost services, they’ve been able to work on getting their clouder, (a group of cats) fixed. 🐈
We love hearing these stories because they help personalize the impact we’ve made in the community. As much as we love hearing the number of animals we’ve fixed, the stories and the amazing people we meet help drive us to always do more.

Community Cat Day is an incredibly important time to recognize the work that goes into managing and caring for our community cat population. By spaying and neutering these cats, we help control their numbers, prevent unwanted litters, and ensure healthier lives for the cats that remain. This year, we are proud to have already spayed/neutered 5,150 cats! These efforts not only protect the cats but also make a positive impact on our neighborhoods, reducing the spread of diseases, minimizing conflicts, and promoting coexistence.
