Optimum Times Farm is a small facility located in the town of Tolland-- off the I-84 corridor, 20 minutes north of Hartford, CT. The owners, Kristen and David Woodworth, live on the property and provide individualized care to each of the horses as if they were family-owned. Emphasis is placed on each horse's health: including nutrition, correct training, proper foot care, all balanced with generou
s turnout during the warm months. Kristen can be found either competing or coaching at many of the Area 1 USEA events. Tolland truly is central to many of the Area 1 events. Kristen offers lessons and training to those who are or may interested in pursuing combined training. Truck-in's are welcome. Full board is offered on a limited basis at the rate of $700/month which includes plentiful quality local hay 2-3X daily and Poulin grain twice daily. Again, feed is individualized to each horses' needs. Turnout is in individual sand paddocks during winter months and group turnout on grass during warm months. 12'X12' stalls with a 12' center aisle. Warm-water wash stall and heated tack room. Attached 60'X120' indoor arena with jumps standards and poles. Outdoor 120'x120' sand arena with cross country obstacles scattered over property for schooling including ditches, banks and water in addition to various portable fences.
