Hi y’all, I’m Kaylee. I work as a kennel tech. I am a 2024 graduate from Tomball Memorial High School. I was an active FFA member all 4 years; showing 5 pigs and both chickens and turkeys.
I have 2 spoiled dogs, Lady and Diesel. 2 crazy cats, Reba and Coco. I plan to continue my education pursuing a degree in Animal Science which will allow me to continue my passion which is to work with animals.

Hi, I’m Emma, I am a lead kennel technician at TAH and have been for a year! I was in 4H for 6 years and raised rabbits, pigs, and chickens. I have 3 dogs of my own. Their names are Lady, Rose, and Polly. When I’m not working, I enjoy photography and hand knitting.

Hi, I’m Kat, a veterinary technician at TAH, and have been working here for 3 years. I have also been an emergency relief tech for the past six years. I have one very special cat to me, Bowie, that we rescued from Lowe’s! I love interacting with clients and their pets at the clinic. My favorite hobbies outside of work are being outdoors, hiking, doing yoga, and taking my grandson to the park. I would describe myself as caring, hard-working, and loving, and my favorite foods are burgers with french fries. If you see me around the clinic, feel free to say hi and introduce yourself. I am happy to be a part of the team!

Hi, I’m Courtney, the lead veterinary technician at TAH. I have been here for the past 11 years and I love joking around with my coworkers. I would describe myself as fun, dedicated and compassionate. My favorite activities outside of work are spending time with my husband, son, and dogs. I enjoy helping my coworkers learn and caring for the patients that come to our hospital. My main roles at TAH include preparing and assisting with surgeries, training new employees, running bloodwork for our patients, and helping our veterinarians with appointments. I can’t wait to see you and your pet again soon!

Hi, I’m a part-time Receptionist at TAH. I have lived in the Tomball/Magnolia area for 40yrs and my husband and I have known Dr. Jana since we were young. I have a large orange cat and a red Beaglier, but in our household we have 4 dogs total and a cat. I am an avid crocheter and huge Astros fan! GO ‘STROS!!

Hi, I’m Gloria, the office manager at TAH, and have been working since we opened in 1971! I am happily married with kids, grandkids, great-grandkids, multiple pets, and a beautiful farm. I enjoy gardening, raising cattle, and being a workaholic. I am happiest when I can stay busy and see our wonderful clients who have been coming to TAH since my husband started the practice in 1971. When I am not at the clinic, you can find me enjoying farm life at home or at sporting events and FFA shows for my grandchildren. I am a proud grandmother and great-grandmother.

Hi, I'm Dr. Murray. I am a residency trained surgeon with 37 years of experience providing advanced care to patients in the Houston area. I'm delighted to be a full time associate at TAH now, providing our clients and patients with the care they deserve in a comfortable family owned practice. I have seven jack Russell terriers, I compete in terrier trials and one of my dogs was invited to the Purina Pro Plan Incredible dog challenge last May. We saw some amazing dogs there and had a great time, although mine didn't place. I have a 10 acre farm with horses, chickens, hay, and lots of wildlife. When I'm not at the clinic, I'm doing farm chores, in agility class with my dogs,or out on the lake. My outside the box fun...I make costumes for the Texas Renaissance Festival!

Hi, I’m Dr. Jana. I have been a veterinarian for 20 years and proudly took over ownership of Tomball Animal Hospital from my father Dr. Tony in 2006. I have 2 children, 7 dogs, 4 cats, 1 horse, and 1 mini-donkey. My zoo at home keeps me busy when I am not at work. I have created an oasis on my grandparent’s old homestead, where I can relax, rejuvenate and have peace. My daughter works in the practice and has started her Animal Science degree at SHSU. My son gives me plenty of football (he made varsity as a freshman!), baseball, and basketball games to attend. If I were to describe myself in three words, I would say that I am kind, analytical and easy going.

While this may be a long read, we think it is worth it to understand the care you receive when choosing Tomball Animal Hospital! When your pet undergoes an anesthetic procedure, dental, or surgery with us, we provide an unparalleled level of service, safety, and comfort.
As our standard procedure, we do things other clinic sometimes consider “extras”, this includes
-Every patient has an IV catheter placed before anesthesia to allow venous access for precise dosing, fluids, and allows us to be ready in case of unexpected events. By doing this we are improving the safety for your pet.
-Before inducing anesthesia, we give every patient an injection to prevent nausea.
-If your pet is nervous, we administer medication BEFORE anesthesia to reduce anxiety and a smooth recovery.
-If we expect any pain from their procedure, your pet gets an appropriate narcotic and anti-inflammatory BEFORE their procedure to reduce stimulation and a smooth recovery.
-We use local and regional anesthetics to reduce the amount of systemic medication your pet needs, making anesthesia safer.
-Every patient receives the undivided attention of the veterinarian until fully recovered (we do our procedures one at a time and your pet is the doctor’s sole responsibility during their procedure).
-Every patient is monitored by a dedicated technician during their procedure.
-A technician stays with your pet until it is sitting up after anesthesia, and monitors comfort and anxiety. If there is any concern, the veterinarian will administer additional medication.
-The doctor examines your pet at discharge to be sure recovery is complete and they have no unexpected problems.
-All Dental patients get full mouth radiographs to examine the root of the tooth and surrounding bone.
-We do complete periodontal procedures and extractions here, we do not make your pet go undergo a second anesthesia at another hospital for these common procedures.
