Saddlebrook Update COVID-19 🦠🚨

We have been closely monitoring the quickly developing effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). With the ever changing quarantine guidelines for this pandemic, we have made the difficult decision to remain closed for lessons for the month of April. We cannot, in good faith, try to get back to teaching just yet.

To err on the side of caution, for your safety and that of our instructors, we will remain closed for lessons until May 1st. All April lessons fees have been credited back to each students’ credit cards. You should have received an email yesterday regarding this update. If you haven’t received it, please contact us, so we can be sure you are on our email list.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies. In the meantime, we will be creating more activities for our students and boarders through our social media outlets.

We would like to thank you for your continuous loyalty to Saddlebrook. If you want to help our small business during this down time, please give us a good review on Yelp and/or Google.

Contact us at the office, 281-731-8555, with any questions or concerns.

‼️🦠Saddlebrook update about the Corona Virus:

Due to the current pandemic of the COVID-19 virus, Saddlebrook will be closed to all students and boarders until April 10, following CISD and TISD closures.

Even though the spaces are open areas here at Saddlebrook and there are no crowds, this is not the time to be driving, getting gas at gas stations, and risking riders getting hurt, having to go to the hospital, etc.

All lessons missed will be credited to your account as makeups for future use. All horse shows have been cancelled for March and April. If you have registered for a show or trail ride, we will credit it to your account for future use. No students will be charged for April Lessons on March 28. Regular charges will resume when this pandemic is under more control and activities have returned to normal.

For boarders, Fobs will not open gates during this pandemic time. Any special care or medical treatment needs to be arranged through Email at [email protected] to be done in-house so that you do not need to access the property. You will not be charged for these extra services. We have plenty of feed and hay for the horses to last us through the next few weeks, even months. The horses will all have a great vacation during this time and enjoy their regular schedule of feedings and turnout. All workers live on property and no outside staff, friends or family members will be allowed on property. This is to protect you and our families that live at Saddlebrook.

Let’s look forward to the slowing this pandemic and being able to enjoy lessons, riding and the horses again during the next few months when the weather is gorgeous, everyone is healthy and all the pollen has been washed away!

‼️SADDLEBROOK UPDATE ABOUT CORONA VIRUS 🦠

Since Saddlebrook does not teach in crowded, closed in settings, such as schools or churches do, we are continuing to remain open as usual and maintain a normal lesson schedule. As you know, Saddlebrook teaches in highly ventilated areas with high air flow. So, following the CDC’s and WHO’s latest information, Saddlebrook will remain open.

Please follow protocol for any allergies, cold or sickness and cover your mouth with your elbow when coughing or sneezing, washing your hands, and maintaining good hygiene.

Please, as usual with any cold or sickness, follow the Saddlebrook protocol and call or email the office if a student is showing symptoms and needs to reschedule their lesson. Please try to call or email to reschedule lessons at least 24 hours in advance. That makeup must be done within the month of scheduled lessons. Obviously, if the student is still sick for the makeup lesson, please contact the office to make a plan.

Let’s be grateful that there are still activities, such as riding lessons, that students can continue to enjoy during this extended Spring Break!
