Here are our newest kids. We have 5 tabby’s and one pure white ones. One of our vets wife fosters bottled fed babies. I feel blessed since they are only 24hrs old.

UPDATE ON KITTENS: one of our vets wife has agreed to foster the kittens for TSAS. Thank you all for offering to help out with them. I will post update on how they are doing.

I’m hoping someone can recommend someone who is experienced in bottle feed new born kittens. I’ve done it many times but I wasn’t involved in the shelter. Working 7 days a week both shifts I’m afraid I I will not be able to spend the time with them that is needed in bottle fed babies. There is 6 of them and they are around 23hrs old. Mom wants nothing to do with them and 2 are struggling to survive. I would greatly appreciate someone who is willing to take on the challenge to please give me a call at 913-375-4208. I will provide all their needs and have several miracle ni***es to make it easier for them to suck from. There are 5 tabby’s and one pure white one, it’s seems to be the strongest out of the six.

Hey folks, "Just Tom" here letting you know that I'll be playing a mix of acoustic Blues and Country on the boardwalk Saturday and Sunday at the corner of 4th and Allen from 11:00 'til 3:00. Just like us humans, sometimes dogs just don't get along with eachother. Such is the case with Croissant. She was adopted to a great home but didn't get along with their male dog. And as always, we gladly took her back. So now she's reunited with her brother Moose at the shelter, ruff- housing and looking forward to her forever home. Maybe with you? 💜🐾

Rattlesnakes are out. Jill Cruz will hold a rattlesnake avoidance class at the shelter on Saturday, May 31, 8-10 am. More info coming soon.

As rattlesnake season quickly approaches, people need to be cautious when taking their dogs outside, but experts say rattlesnake avoidance training can help prevent them from danger.

All of our dogs & cats are loved so much. We always have their best interests in mind. We are very excited to announce that Marla and Austin will be going to Scottsdale to an Aussie breed rescue where they will find excellent forever homes specific for their breed. Levi is the savvy senior of the shelter. He's approx 13 yrs old and weighs approx 15 lbs . A sweet social butterfly. He's healthy, neutered , chipped, vaccinated and ready to give you kisses.

All of us at tsas would like thank all of our guest today for coming out to support our shelter. It was nice to get to meet so many of you. It was a very enjoyable day. We feel blessed for all the donations today which totalled $4,000. A special thank you to Brandon Sharp for all his hard work sponsoring the event. Tom Malon (the music man) for his endless weekends playing his music downtown for the shelter(s). The doggies and kitties housed at TSAS send ######xxooooooo

Thank you to everyone who came by and supported the shelter today. It was a successful event. And at least three dogs are finding amazing homes this coming week. Plus much needed funds were raised, and dog/cat food was donated. 💜🐾 Thank you to our amazing volunteers who sold raffle tickets, flipped burgers & hotdogs, and did whatever needed to help our beloved animals. And thanks to Brandon SV Hellizona Sharp .
