If you haven’t heard about what has happened to A Squirrel Named Peanut , Fred the Racoon and our friends Mark & Dani, owners of Peanuts Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary Inc. , the DEC came to their home last week and seized both Peanut & Fred with a warrant and ultimately killed them both.
These animals were not pets, they were members of our friends family and so well loved.
Mark & Dani saved both of these animals, gave them the best lives and are the best people ever ❤️

They opened a sanctuary where they save hundreds of animals a year in Peanuts name.
Two of our baby goats, Stevie & Joplin are from their farm.
You may recognize Mark & Dani from events at Duvall Farms where they have sold goat milk soap and other products to raise money for their santuary. We will continue to sell their products in the market to help them fight this fight.

Please visit their page and help anyway you can to support them in preventing this from ever happening again and continuing all of the amazing work they do for these animals in need.

This is devastating beyond words.

We love you Mark & Dani and are heartbroken over this and all you are going through. We are here for you always 💔

Buddy is still waiting for a foster 😭

Buddy is 2-3 years old and is very friendly. He is heartworm positive and looking for a medical foster. Buddy has tested well with dogs but he must be kept calm during his treatment.

Fostering is incredibly rewarding and would mean the world to Buddy. Volunteers will be with you every step of the way. All expenses are covered by the rescue & you have the option to adopt if you fall in love.

🎃 Just a friendly reminder:
If you're going to the Halloween parade, please leave your pets at home. Yes, there are animals in the parade, but to stand there and watch it with your pet is entirely different. There's a lot of loud noises, lots of lights, sirens, and lots of people- it can be very overwhelming!
(I'm posting this because I've seen pets freak out there!) Happy trick-or-treating, and happy Halloween! 👻
