Notice how she’s behind my leg? This is part of the goal for better listening and less reactivity. All dogs need a tuneup from time to time!

Gracie has joined our Noble’s family for weekly walks.The Newfoundland is an intelligent breed.Calm and well mannered they were bred to assist fishermen in Newfoundland to haul in nets,carry boat lines to shore and rescue those who fell overboard.

Understanding leash pressure and the correct way to use it is key to your puppy’s success. First you have pressure and then there’s release and in between there’s a wonderful world of “feel”. Every time your puppy pulls you must Stop 🛑and simultaneously apply pressure. Dog Training Tip of the Day here at Noble’s!

Do you have a dog that is hyperactive,needs extra exercise and has difficulty settling down and giving you their focus? Remember that lunging exercises on a long line or lead,as well as running them before you practice your training,will help immensely with focus. Be patient so you can receive their eye contact and engagement! Mainting your dogs training is so important. It is similar to us keeping our skills updated. If one doesn’t stay in practice;daily singing,cooking,reading,tennis, painting,writing letters etc… one becomes rusty. For anyone investing in their puppy or dogs training, remember that maintenance work will need to be done on a daily basis. This work is fun and can be done by you while out on a walk or in a new environment.Just 15 minutes a day will keep them tuned up. #nobleromans #customdogservices #wetakepristinecareofyourfurbabies
