Grateful that we have spent countless sessions perfecting this down since we haven’t perfected the art of seamless bike rides 🤦🏼‍♀️
Since my leash needed to be rescued I was able to rely on Zuko to hold his down amidst the many distractions of a Kenmore neighborhood, and of course had my as a backup

Meet Odin 🐾

Odin is 10 months old. He is extremely dog reactive and human reactive to new situations and strangers including the vets office.

Although lesson packages and training programs have a general outline, some situations call for customization for the dog and humans specific needs.

With Odin we began muzzle conditioning at lesson one, and this photo illustrates a dog and an owner that are now comfortably sitting in the vets office with a new sense of confidence in each other.

Along with muzzle conditioning for Odin, we worked on creating a clear line of communication through leash work and body language to show him that his reactions are unnecessary and he can trust that his owner will keep him “safe” in those scary moments.

We still have plenty to learn together, but I’m excited to see where his potential will take us!

Zuko and I got out on our first ride together today… a nice bike ride is a good way to get a good run out of him while he also has to concentrate on a task instead of the distractions of other dogs.. This tires him out both physically and mentally! 15 minutes together to achieve a happy and healthy dog and positive dog/human bonding time!
