Buffalo Pug & Small Breed Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)3 that is registered through NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets.

We accept all breeds of dogs and also cats from abuse situations, surrenders, breeders and kill-shelters. *Please Note* Our phone is an informational line only. Being an all volunteer organization, there is no one available to answer the amount of calls we would receive. It is much easier for our volunteers to correspond with you via e-mail or Facebook Private Message. Your wait time for a response will be greatly reduced using these methods. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

One month from today is Santa Paws!!! We hope you will be joining us for this dog and family-friendly event. There will be pictures with Santa, dog craft items for sale and our huge basket raffle. We are also still looking for basket donations - if you would like to donate, reach out and one of our volunteers will pick-up. This event will be held at our adoption center located at 2200 Military Road in Tonawanda. See you next month!!! 🎅🌲❄️

We cannot believe that Feebie hasn't received any applications! Feebie is one of the most loyal dogs...she LOVES people and toys and belly rubs. She is such a happy girl and so smart - if her water bowl is empty she will bring it to your attention! If she could, we think she would fill it herself!😂❤❤. Her birthday is on November 22nd so we are hoping that she will be in her forever home by that date! Are you feeling sad that you missed out on the adoption of Bojangles? Well don’t fear, his brother Jimothy is still looking for his forever home!! He’s great with dogs, cats and kids. He doesn’t need a fenced yard if you are a dedicated walker! This guy LOVES a long walk! He’s a bit bigger than your average Pomeranian at 19 pounds - they refer to them as ‘throw-back’ or Victorian Poms. He’s a happy go lucky and easy kind of dog.
