Congratulations to the Happy Helpers Volunteers of the Year, Larry Caenen and Elvin Lynn! We truly appreciate their generosity in helping our club over the years. They were recognized at our April meeting. Lots of businesses was also conducted, plus project talks and tasty refreshments. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Happy Helpers had a lot of fun hosting today’s Countywide Cloverbud meeting. They made balloon rockets, went on a nature scavenger hunt and learned how to make healthy trail mix. Thanks to all the club members who helped!

What a great tour of Peruvian Connection today! It was a wonderful opportunity for 4-Hers enrolled in the Sewing & Textile Design, Shopping In Style and Fiber Arts project to learn about how this incredible company goes from fiber to garment in a sustainable, fashionable way.

What a busy March meeting! Conducted lots of business; 4-Hers gave talks about the Electric & Renewable Energy, Building Block Engineering and Shooting Sports; Braxton reported on the Lawrence Humane Society Tour; and there was a special club program. Thanks to everyone who participated. Next up: walking in the Tonganoxie St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday!
