On my first visit to England, I fell in love with these amazing dogs and in particular the ones belonging to my dear friend, Stevie Down. I brought my first two Lurchers, both gifts from Stevie's daughters, Dixie and Bonnie, to America 4 years ago. The first was my smooth coat Lurcher Gypsy Girl. She was the last puppy from the matriarch of the Down's Lurchers, Gypsy. Janey Down gave her to me so

that a bit of her beloved Lurcher could make her way to America. Finally my Christmas present 3 years ago, our stud dog, Jacob. I am truly blessed to have these wonderful dogs in my life. They are smart, kind and loyal.
