Taz is getting more and more excited each day for the season to start!

This was some training we did over the weekend. 12 hours aged
About 900yds total (2 tracks)
Mother nature dropped some light rain about half way through the day to add to the fun.

I tried to throw him for a loop but he wasn't phased. I've been told several times about deer crossing their own path after being wounded. This will cause confusion for hunters and create uncertainty about the direction taken. I was glad to see Taz work right through it.

As you see the him get "off the trail", is all self correction. We track in silence and watching him work is so awesome. He will test the limits of the scent and go back to his last known spot.

Taz passed the UBT-1 test in seven minutes flat! He impressed the UBT judge with his outstanding skills.
