With everything else going on, we have the possibility of some severe weather tomorrow. Make sure to secure what you don't want blown away!

After a relatively quiet Monday, we are expecting a more active day on Tuesday. Thunderstorms are forecast to develop over higher terrain around noon and move toward the southwest. As the storms move into a more unstable environment over Yavapai and Gila counties, some could become severe with wind gusts up to 60 mph and localized hail up to 1" in diameter. Keep an eye to the sky Tuesday!

Watching these guys work is really impressive. Hoping for a quick mop up on this too close to home

We've made it quite a while with mild weather, but it looks like summer is showing its face this coming week. Remember that we tend to run closer to Valley temperatures here in the Basin and be prepared with extra water and shade! ☀️

The hottest weather of the season so far is headed our way this week. Right now the hottest day looks like Thursday, and an Excessive Heat Watch has been issued for areas below 4000 feet elevation in the Grand Canyon, Marble/Glen Canyons, and the Yavapai County valleys including Verde Valley. Some increasing clouds and storm chances could provide a bit of relief by Fri/Sat - stay tuned for more info on that!
