King Henry
02/10/2006-01/17/2025
I have been at loss of words for making this post. I type through the tears.
We lost King on Friday, Jan 17th to a freak accident with a broken leg that was just unfixable.
King was more then just a horse. He was my everything. He was what dreams were made of. He is wasn't like any other stallion. He loved us, he loved my son and he protected my son. He made so many things possible for me. No matter how many horses or even stallions I went through he was always one that would stay by my side. I have had King for 13 years and I always said from the beginning he would be buried on our property and that he was. ❤️ Very few people know how much this horse meant to me.
I'm sure he was greeted at heavens gates with not open arms but a saddle in hand by my little sister Hayley Ellertson and Suzanne Mitchell. For now, I am just going to cry for a long time and grieve.
RIP King or Henry as my grandma would jokingly call him.
I want to thank my best friend Lacy Cunningham for driving to me and crying with me. I want to thank My husband for helping and carrying me while I just couldn't walk and letting me cry my life away. Thank you to Shelby Moore for making him comfortable. Thank you to all my neighbors that came to support me, take care of him, and dig his final resting place. When they say it takes a village it really does.
