Hey everyone,

My boyfriends aunt found this little sweetie in Oxnard and took him to the shelter to be checked for a chip. The chip was no longer valid and had signs of neglect. He is now being held at the Ventura County Animal Shelter and will be adoptable next weekend. He is a six year old Lhasa Aposo/ Dachsund mix. Let’s get him out and into his furrrever home

This handsome fella is one of my first sitting clients. Tyson is a sweet and gentle giant who a few years ago was diagnosed with addision disease. Addison’s disease is the common name for hypoadrenocorticism, caused by decreased hormone production from the outer part or cortex of the adrenal gland. While his family could provide the monthly injections needed to fight the disease and prolong his life span, they unfortunately aren’t financially capable any longer. They are hoping to find Tyson a home where someone can provide not only the same love and attention given to him but the financial stability to continue with his injections.

Tyson is a five year old mastiff mix who loves running around, being outside, playing with his toys and getting all the snuggles and kisses he possibly can. He is not good with other dogs so should be the only dog in the house but does get a long with children.

While walking a dog walking client at the corner of shirley, lemay and kittredge street i came upon this guy. After dropping my clients off i tried to entice him with food but he was definitely scared and snappy.
