💅 One of our registered vet techs, Dusty, is pictured here giving a dog a pedicure! This means trimming the nails and following it up with a Dremel. It acts similarly to a nail file for us humans.
➡️ Did you know nail trims can sometimes be medically necessary? We have seen dogs and cats whose nails have overgrown so much that it causes pain in the paw pads! For some animals, they are active enough that when they walk on a hard flooring, the nails stay shorter on their own. Oftentimes though, animals need to have their nails kept trimmed on a regular basis. We typically recommend to have pets nails trimmed every six weeks or so. We are happy to trim your dog or cat's nails at their next vet visit with us!
