With my current work schedule I have not had the free time to bake much. 😔 I've had to block off 2 months of side-job work due to my main job schedule and we are really feeling it in the bakery. The next round of treats will be my attempt at allergen free options. 🤔👌

I can't sell my treats until I've gotten all the permits, licenses, and permissions I need.😮‍💨😅 That doesn't stop me from creating and perfecting my very own recipes!💖👩‍🍳 What are some that you would like to see?

Our sample treats are arriving! Here are some helpful tips:
1) The treats should last a while on the counter, but keeping fresh treats in the fridge or freezer will always make them last longer!
2)Make sure to have water accessible when feeding your doggie snacks to prevent dehydration.
3) Don't feed too many snacks at once!(Even though we love them). Too many treats can make a tummy upset.
4) Always inspect treats before feeding. They should last a while, but inconsistent temperatures in transit as well as individual moisture levels in each home can effect the shelf life.

One of the special treat options in our test batch is a 🍕pizza🍕 flavored biscuit. It really smells and tastes like a cheese pizza!😳🍃🌿🧀🍅🌾

Friendly reminder that all treats are to be fed in moderation. That includes the humans who are already tempted to eat this! 🤤😋

The time has come to send out the tester treats! Fresh batches have been made for our recipients and you will get about 4-6 of each kind of treat. On each bag is a card for you! 😊💖 One side has the Treat Type and ingredients list. The other side has a small questionnaire to help me get some feedback on what works for you and what doesn't. I will make an announcement once they are sent!

Today I was talking to my roommate about our tester treats.I make a small test batch and sit them on the counter in a sealed bag to see how long it takes to expire. This way I can have an accurate representation of the shelf life of the treats before any natural preservatives. I never want to make things that make you feel rushed to use them. If you're like me, you buy treats in bulk, so we need them to stand the test of time without being harmful to our pets. That is our current goal!

Today I burnt almost a whole batch of our Peanut Butter-Pumpkin treats.

Luckily there were enough that were still usable, but they'll be used for testing instead. 😄
