HOW ARE WE DOING IN THESE SUB-ZERO TEMPS? Thank you for asking. The dogs enjoy the quick burst of running in the outdoors, but it’s important to remember that every minute of exposure matters. On days like these, we go out often, but the duration is short. When it’s too cold for us, it’s too cold for them. Except for the Huskies, but we force them to come back inside anyway. 😉🐾🥶

Do not attempt to drive west this morning. Road crews are busy in town trying to get the city and local businesses up and running. All of us in the county will have to wait. Tuesday should be better, but I’ll update later this evening.

The big dogs welcomed the snow today, but the little dogs, not so much. Lucy braved the drifts just long enough to speak her mind!

The dogs always provide a fresh perspective

Here’s a little Dog Church on your Sunday morning: Life is all about perspective. Where some see inconvenience, others find joy. Like the dogs at this morning, let us chase life with unrestrained enthusiasm, paying less attention to the bitter winds and focusing instead on the beautiful snowflakes blowing around us.

We celebrated the New Year with our first hike of 2025! We took a hike through the enchanted woods at DDA. It’s beautiful out here!!!

We want to wish a very happy birthday to Bella S and thank her for getting snacks for our staff today! We look forward to celebrating more birthdays with you! 🎂🎉
