GROUP WALK!

Saturday, November 8th, at 12pm.

Shawnee North Community Center (at the Shelter house behind the pool- the back of the east entrance).

You do NOT have to be a member of SWDT to participate, this is open to EVERYONE.

We do not allow the dogs to interact with each other; everyone is asked to maintain distance from the others.

The goal is to learn how to regulate and walk around unfamilar people and dogs.

Facebook keeps messing up the event times when the event posts are made.

Meet Waylon!

It's so fun watching them grow from lesson to lesson!

Waylon began training with us for basic puppy manners. He's been doing a wonderful job working through impulse control, cues and chain behaviors, loose leash walking, and more! Waylon LOVES to work, and it has been incredibly fun engaging with him and watching his confidence grow while maintaining his silly demeanor.

Sparkle Update!

Sparkle spent the least session learning from Ogi how to regulate in a hectic environment. She stayed relaxed as people and dogs passed by- and there was a football game happening across the parking lot, was able to read body language and respond appropriately, and was given a couple of opportunities to practice proper greetings!

This pup is doing so great! (She's only a few months old)

Meet Nella!

She began training with us due to anxiety which led to fearful-reactive/avoidance behaviors.

She is learning so quickly and clicking-in in a variety of locations!
She used to fear her kennel and had separation anxiety and is now happily choosing to go in her kennel and shows no signs of anxiety when the door is closed for hours at a time.

We are so excited to see her confidence grow, watch her take treats from strangers, and even allow petting (when she wants to, of course).

Great job guys!! 👏 👏👏

Angel, Shyla, and Luna Update!

Life got busy over the summer, but we were able to pick back up with these three recently! Boy, did they surprise us!
These cuties started training with us after several altercations with each other. They were all three quite reactive to people and other dogs, sounds outside, etc.

All three were excited and ran up to Sarah! We met at a new location where they were able to engage and disengage with unfamiliar people and dogs, and even respond to cues when escalated! Angel and Luna remained regulated even when Shyla went over threshold.

We were all so proud and look forward to seeing all of the progress as we continue our journey together!
