The kiddos love helping with some in-home training!

This is an exercise we began after working through the name game and first steps of come when called.

Lucy does very well with cues when clicked in, but struggles with what we call "Blind recall" which is when you call them outside of a training session when they are busy doing something.

You'll notice at one point she gets distracted with the treat under the couch, and instead of getting frustrated or escalating, we give her a few seconds and happily call her name again.

Coming to you off-leash should be something ypur dog WANTS to do, not something they are afraid not to do.

This was 30 seconds of a *maybe* 3 minutes total we played that game in that specific area, changing it up, challenging her, all while keeping it fun.

We will continue to build on this one.

This is Lola! ❤️

She began training with us due to extreme fear reactivity with sounds, people, and some dogs.

This is the first lesson Lola has had outside of the home and with an unfamilar dog.

She started off very pushy and jumpy, then became super tense and uncertain when she didn't get the responses she was expecting.
By the end of that session, Lola relaxed and laid down, calmly observing her surroundings.

We love providing these safe, structured interactions to help dogs trigger process completely through their regulation cycle.

Meet Freddie (and Luna)!

Freddie began training with us due to extreme reactivity to sounds, knocks at the door, unfamilar people and dogs in public, screaming in the car, and more.

We've been working through impulse control and trigger processing while learning how to regulate in public places.

We are definitely seeing progress and are excited to keep building on the foundation we are setting.

How Hari and Maggie felt after their last training session with Sarah... aren't they adorable? 😍

These two began training with us due to resource guarding, wanting to develop more appropriate attention-seeking behaviors, and to help with loose-leash walking.

While we have began working on that process, we also introduced them to the hoola hoop, and that was super fun and, of course, exhausting.

Appreciation/ Reintroduction Post!🥳

Bear often works with puppies as he is a wonderful, patient, mother-hen, and is our "Step 2" Dog when working through reactivity.

He's been stepping up for us while Ogi takes a step back for a little bit.

He's getting up there in age, but he really enjoys meeting all of the new dogs!

We love you, Bear! 🖤
