Andy wants to tell you not to snooze on your chance to win. Today is the last day to get tickets for our Holiday Raffle. Our volunteers put together three great gift baskets. It’s a cold day again but Princess is all snug and warm. We love picking out snuggly beds just for her. It’s so cute when she snuggles down as deep as she can. She deserves to be spoiled. 😊

Brew wasn’t ready for a picture today anymore than Grover was earlier. They both were having too much fun playing. See Grover there in the tunnel behind her? (We might also have been shaking the camera from laughing.) Guess we will try another day to get better photos of them. 😆

Looking for gift ideas for the cat lovers on your list? Check out the shop at CAT! We’ve got cute cat themed jewelry, holiday t-shirts, and greeting cards. You could also make a donation or sponsor a cat as a gift. We have photo cards of the cats made up to send out. We can even send the card for you.

Can’t forget gifts for the kitties! There are lots of toys to choose from including holiday themed. As always we are stocked up on catnip mice as well. Come out to see what we have. Your shopping helps the cats.

Make a note of our upcoming holiday hours! We will be giving our staff some well deserved time off. Our wonderful volunteers will be stepping in to care for the cats.

Be sure to get your shopping done before then. We’ve got our holiday items out including the popular catnip mice. Don’t forget to check out our holiday raffle and mystery stockings. The stockings are going fast. It’s going to be a Happy Meowliday! 😸🎄

It’s Giving Tuesday! There are so many ways you can help the cats today and any day. Make a donation here on our page or on our website. You can also mail in a donation or stop by CAT to make one. There’s sure to be a cat in the shop to greet you, too!

Shopping with us also helps on a regular basis. We’ve got all kinds of things for cats and cat lovers. You can find cat food, toys, supplies, and gift items. Right now we are starting to decorate for Christmas and put out holiday items. It’s also a chance to pick out some Mystery Stockings or enter our Holiday Raffle.

Donations of funds are not the only way to help. Supply donations are also a great way to help. Our wish list includes daily needs like laundry soap, bleach, paper towels, trash bags, and other essentials. Can’t make it in to the shelter? Order from our wish list on Amazon at https://a.co/cmUiR90 or on Chewy at https://www.chewy.com/g/cat-association-of-topeka_b96147192. It will get delivered to the shelter.

Every donation goes towards the care of the cats until we find them furever homes. Anyway you can help is greatly appreciated!

We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday! Remember, a little turkey treat is okay as long as it’s unseasoned, skinless, and boneless. Be sure your pets don’t get into other holiday goodies like gravy, foods with garlic or onion, grapes or raisins, nuts, or chocolates. The best thing is to give them their own pet treats and food.

A big shoutout to our volunteers who are at the shelter today taking care of the kitties! Have a great day everyone!
